Put the 3rd person spectating on a delay. A few minutes would be sufficient or a post game replay with camera control. I think what a lot of us want are spectator controls so we can review a match (see what went wrong or right) or to make really cool videos.

jay35: Are there plans to implement a match configuration interface that allows players to create/host matches on a specific map? Or at the very least, a way to know the map we will be dropped into before we select our mechs?
A: No to the first part. We do not plan to allow players to run matches with specific parameters. Yes to the second part.

I like those about Fraction Camos.Yey for HHoD camo !
More mech skills will be nice too.
For those IS/Clan only matches you guys should think about TRO 3025 and 3035 modes :) .
You should allow players to create game+select map and starting possitions.It will be great for tournament plays.W/o it tournaments created and supported by 3rd side like RHOD will suck.Starcraft 2 tournaments are good exemplary how it should work.
I like that offline training grounds mode :mellow: .

Nad you will have 4 TONS of AC/Gauss ammo+2 Tons of srm ammo...well enjoy 1 min fight.

Well, when one pull of the trigger kills any kind of enemy, it's hard to argue over the fact you only have ammo for a few shots.

assiprinz: Would it be an option for you to implement gameplay/mechbay candy like a playable hangar I can stroll through on foot to view my mechs in all their glory? A test drive range with spawnable (perhaps static) mech drones to test my loadouts?
A: Probably not a walk around. Improvements to the UI and MechLab are incoming. Testing Grounds comes online next month.

Gots to have the hangar walk around. UI 3.0!

Not ideal at all, just make it so that there are no rewards in private matches it you want to avoid exploits, if you dont want them in the game because you are worrying that it will split the community, let me say this; whats worse that some customers never get to fight each other, or some customers leaving due to a lack of options?
I'm staying, im making that much clear atleast, im staying because at some point we will have custom matches, anything else would be madness and total bizarro world.

and about the concerns mention by Solis Obscuri:
how would even two ac20s and srms plus AMMO fit in a 65ton chassis without being too fragile?
and besides that: nobody said, that the ballistic hardpoints won't be in the CT, what would limit it to MGs and ac2s (i would totally be happy with that)
2M(LA,RA), 2E(LT,RT) and 2B (CT) seems to be the best balancing for such a (hero) catapult layout

Thanks for all the answers. I just worry that letting people see the map they're dropping on will just lead to less balanced builds and major boating issues. I like what adding Alpine Peaks to the map rotation has fine to the general meta game a far as builds are concerned.

FireDog: Any chance for pure tech, IS weapons on IS chassis, clan weapons on clan chassis drops? Could be another game mode to keep it interesting.

The only way to keep different techlevels usefull in the game, what prior MW games couldn´t do.
Sure you will find a way to balance this, hopefully with drop restrictions.
Hoping for battles between an IS company (12 mechs) against clan binary (10 mechs)

Make those ballistics slots fit in the center torso = viable Hero 'Mech that does not break the game, but is simply very good like the Muromets of these days.
