I'm only peeved that they didn't send an email when they updated the survey for more questions. I signed up day-0, put in my hardware info - and when I finally checked on monday I got notified that I didn't get a key because I'd only filled in 5%. x.x

Nope, nothing has been released for system specs yet..probably won't for awhile...closed beta just started, they'll need some time to review specs and see how it runs on various machines. Also, nothing has been said about open beta yet.

They repeatedly said that they are aiming for an open beta "this summer" (just watch those GDC interviews).

What that exactly means is beyond us all, propably beyond Piranha themselves.
The earliest chance to get in would be the Founders Pack/Operation Inception. Well, at least for the NA-based players. Lets wait and see how this plays out with us Europeans and the Aussies.

You'll be able to run it fine, you have a current generation mid-range GPU with a max display of 1440x900. That 7700 series card will eat through that resolution.
