Attention! You can still stomp pugs in 4 mans--even with Elo matchmaking!

Here's how: make sure that everyone in your group is at the same skill level. If your group contains people of wildly different skill levels, you are at a massive disadvantage.

I am not trolling. If you are running a 4 man and are getting stomped by pugs, you need to make sure that everyone in your group is at roughly the same skill level. The matchmaker seems to be systematically matching mixed-skill premades against much better pugs.

You can try to scam the ELO match maker all you want/as much as you want, but eventually, it will get ahold of you.

Elo will do what it's designed to do. Trying to cheat it just ends up screwing yourself. Best of luck with that though, tell us how it works out for you.

LOL @ a former PUG stomper now getting stomped by PUGs, and thus trying to scheme a way back to his former glory. This is exactly what I secretly hoped would happen with ELO. LMFAO!

On a serious note, I have noticed the quality of my random PUG teammates is A LOT better than pre ELO. Someone almost always takes the Commander role, and more often than not everyone communicates via text chat. I've had some really excellent matches, win or lose.

Elo has broken casual 4 mans. All I'm doing is telling you guys how to fix it because there a lot of smug pugs who think they are hot stuff because they can beat severely gimped 4 mans.

Basically it's pugs who are unknowingly gaming the system.

If you're in a 4 man and you're suffering from a losing streak, try kicking out the guy in your group who is way better or way worse than everyone else. The difference is night and day.

When did ELO return?
I read they removed it on day 1 of the patch because of the long waiting period in the matchmaker. And i have not read anything about it beeing active again.
The thing they did beside removing ELO is removing 8 man premades from 8 man PUG groups. Which was possible at the beginning of the Patch
