A Redmech: a pilot showing a glorious lack of sophistication.


If you have ever charged into the middle of the enemy lines because you think you are unbeatable...you might be a Redmech.

If someone has ever typed over general chat: "Strippers and blow in the crater" and you laughed...but went anyway....you might be a Redmech.

If you have ever thought that you were unbeatable because you were running an Atlas...and then met three ECMing Ravens...you might be a Redmech.

"Redmech" sounds more like "Red shirt" than your definition, though.

Had a dead guy in my last match go "Why don't you shoot him, what's wrong with you, are you using a joystick?" as I'm desperately trying to avoid getting murdered by two 3Ls and a Treb in my badly damaged, overheating Elmo.

If this guy was spectating me, he can see my damage readout AND my heat meter. Anyway, won the match, didn't die, told dead guy to shut up.
