I have been waiting for this since the moment I saw the teaser trailers in 2009 constantly searching for any sign of development from anyone. However I must ask a question
I have read through these posts and I keep seeing the same message over and over.... I have loved mechwarrior and started playing with MW2. Has no one played the original Mechwarrior in which Gideon Braver reforms the Blazing Aces in order to reclaim his right place as ruler of his planet with the Chalice of Herne?
Please tell me there are other old mechwarriors out there who have been waiting for this as long as I have?

I played the original. Took a Locust and won every mission by charging in and blowing the legs off of whatever was out there. Still, I think Crescent Hawk's Inception was the best of the 1st generation BT games.

Crescent Hawks inception made my computer burn up as I would leave it running all night to gain more C-bills from the market so I could buy better equipment, it was a sacrafice I was willing to make. I like Crescent's Hawk revenge as well until I got to the mission where Gideon was surrounded and then killed with no way to save him. Yes that was an expensive monitor to replace that day.
It just amazes me how this title has been around for so long and little to no interest has been lost in it.
One old foggie ready for action.

I started on MW4, but then went back and got my hands on MW2 and MW3. All of them are great games, though MW4 will always have a play in my heart.
