Loved the Summoner ever since I got into BT back with MW2. It has treated me well in every rendition of the battletech I have tried :)

Also really enjoy the Warhawk, the Stormcrow and of course the Warhammer IIC but that is mainly because it is a Warhammer WHM-6R with shiny weapons

Shadow Cat - fast and agile, good for a lot of situations
Timber Wolf - all around awesome mech

It would be cool if PGI had "Inner Sphere fights back sell" and and introduces all the mechs built to fight the clans like the Bushwacker (3053 the first omnimech created by Inner Sphere mech designers) and the Falconer (3051) (A heavy mech with a PPC, Guass rifle, several med lasers and jump jets!).

Kodiak would be cool, i would like the Stone Rhino but given how rare it was to see it on the battlefield i don't know if we will see it. ShadowCat (Clan Nova Cat's mech) should also make an appearance

Thor D. Favorite clan mech evah.

Remove that Falcon tag, if you can not even use the Summoner's true name!

Nova Prime and Summoner D for me.

Yea the back from hell sale....meehh just a bunch of IS hero mechs. Nothing new

and i agree that no jade falcon should call it that. In the name of Kerensky it's the Summoner! The pride of clan Jade Falcon....not the "thor"

My favorite assault mech is still holding onto that title, even in MWO. Warhawk is still bringing the blue hot pain. Still wish I had a Hellbringer, or (eventually) a Nova Cat, however. :wacko:

I got my favs amongst the Clans as well the Sphere:

Front Line: Daishi, Gladiator[Executioner]*, Mad Cat, Shadow Cat, Nova Cat, and Cauldron Born.

Second Line: Marauder IIC and Hunchback IIC.

*I'm hoping that once they get the Myomer Acceleration System Circuitry [M.A.S.C.] working in this this game, that this beauty will make a debut here. Loved it in the MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries.

To be utmost honest my all time favorite mech would be the Shadow Cat Prime paired with the Mad Dog Prime.

My third most favorite mech was the Timber Wolf, not just because it is a powerful looking mech and in practically every book but that in the hands of a good pilot it can destroy worlds. Since Mechwarrior Online introduced it my opinion of it has dropped because people use it for pop-tarting (jumping from behind cover, firing, and dropping back behind it). The mech is not meant to do that, none of them are, the jump jets are for getting over obstacles the mech can't get over on its own. Second Mechwarrior Online really need to crack down on the physics of this game because the reality is these are uber heavy mechs that if you were to do pop-tarting the myomers in the legs would start to break and the skeleton of the mech would start to break like a humans bones. Also the thought of a site of a once fierce 75 ton mech hopping up and down, and hiding behind cover like a coward makes me sad that in such a short time its fierce name was disgraced by cowardly pilots and bad physics.

Guy's. I'm using this thread to post my actual dire Wolf Prime build.
Since it's one of my favorite mech so far.

"
BattleMech: Dire Wolf Prime
Nickname: (temporary) Black Storm

Armor= Maxed to the max.
System= Artemis
Weapons:

5 Clan Extended Range Medium Pulse Laser
1 Clan Extended Range Large Laser.
2 Clan Extended Range Particle Projector Canon
Long Range Missile Mark 20 with 4 tonns (or 5? 6? IDK anymore. I have 540 missile ready to fire.)

That build is used by the Mechwarrior "KuroNyra" A.K.A. Kuro Furukou on his OmniMech Dire Wolf Prime.
The combination of the 5 ERMPL allow to quick damage to opponent getting at close range and is very good against all kind of target for prescise damage.

The Large range laser is here to allow the attack on long rang target without the problem of the aim who can be encountered with the double ERPPC and is also a good weapon to deal continu damage to target without getting heat problem.

The Double ERPPC are inspired by the Mighty "Widowmaker" of the Legend "Natasha Kerensky". And allow for immense pin-point damage at every range. But that attack cost a lot of Heat.

The LRM-20 equiped with an Artemis system do not have a lot of missile. Only 540, but it allow for a ammount of time enought long range firepower to destroy the ennemy armor without getting in too great danger."

In short, that build is a sort of jack of all trade created to make a mech able to fight with out huge supply of ammo. And still be able to deal massive damage at all range.

I try to find a correct name for that build.
It is "Black Storm" because my Dire Wolf is painted in black. But I still try to find a better name.
Maybe something like "Nightmare" or "Luna"?
