But while the rest of my clan is not on i have been playing 4 man games, my teammates seem to be really bad, just running off and splitting up as fast as they can,
Anyone else finding this? i check my stats and i have a lot of wins from the beta days, i wondered if cus i have good stats the game is dropping me with noobs every game?

Balanced mechs, good mix of weights, some skilled players, some noobs, some ecm.
Now:
Always bad players, never ECM, other team stacked with 6 ECM and skilled players
Can we have old matchmaking back? Getting triple the score of the second highest person on my team isn't fun.

That doesn't justify why I get paired with nigh re.tar.ds(because idiots aren't as inept as *******) when playing solo. If anything ,my occasional 4man sprees in the past should'v resulted in me being paired up with pros against pros.
Sorry, but when you're on the top of your team with 1 or 2 other guys doing 3x the damage of the rest of the team combined, something is wrong.

A game i had a bit ago our top guy had 1000, i had 200ish, another had 300.... the other 5 were under 100.
Other team was 400-200, all avg players. We won. Our top dog in hois founders atlas was all that.
Your right there is a problem, match maker thinks your as good as he was, based on your stats, but your not.
Don't worry ELO will get you appropriately pegged sooner or later. In the meantime, enjoy your well deserved losses stat padder.

This is how you make me feel reading your posts. In other words, your tears are delicious.

If you had a ton of wins before Feb 5th, they are not relevant to your current standing in the matchmaker. Only your performance since Feb 5th matters. If you barely played at all since Feb 5th (taking a break?) the you are at (or near) the base starting elo, along with a very large proportio of other players.
The more you play, the closer you will get to your correct elo rating.

Oh I'm not crying, I'm having a fun time killing high ranked cheesers that go against me.
True, losing cause half of the team can't fit a box into a square shaped hole is a bit displeasing.
You don't make sense tho.
You're saying that, while I was playing solo, my team lost because I was a bad player eventho I had the high score in my team(usually higher than half of the enemy team too).
See, that doesn't make sense. If I was a low skilled stat padder I should be having low score.
Please, logic. I know many people can't comprehend it but please do try.
EDIT: Almost forgot. I think I had you in 1 game, quite some time ago, and you were within the first 3 dead.
Hard to forget an unoriginal and childishly capsed name.

I was not trying to pad my stats i just wanted to work in a team and co ordinate with my mates. I never liked running over pugs so dont get upset. I kept saying to my fellow team mates this is boring and this is why i really only play 8 man games, only tried 4 man for the first time in ages cus no1 was on teamspeak.
I dont want to fight vs 8 people that arnt working together, every1 running around the map like crazy wihth no direction is not really what i call high level of play or how the game is ment to be played.
I wish the whole matchmaking system was not there and we all had to enter custom games but there we are stuck with what we have. Enjoy playing the game the way you want and enjoy getting a win for a change.
And after all ur digging at me remember ur winning cus 4 people on the other team are that much worse than you, wow, gj guys, maybe one day u will grow up and play 8 man

what it's doing is making acumulative team scores so that's why sometimes you get 7vs8 cause the 7 team has really good players.
on the other hand you're elo may say you're good so to make it fair on the enemy you get a noob or 2 on your side, twice i dropped with a catapult lrm boat who hardly ever used his lrms, saddly it would seem to come down to him as the last man and the fail ensued.
that's why this tourny thing is on promoting a marathon. the more games played means more info for your elo but i reckon we're stuck with the each team having equal amount of elites and trainees vs the same skill based team. so if you lose your elite pilots you'll lose.
seems fair i suppose.

They're just trolls. It's not your fault. The matchmaker just gives you an artificially better score when you're in a group because you have the huge advantage of not-sucky teammates. Because you have mates that don't suck, you're more likely to win. When you solo pug, somehow people who can't hit the broad side of a barn get matched with you and your team loses. No idea how it works.

Ill try to keep this concise.
MM thought you were good enough to counteract/negate the badness of your bads, it thought the same of
Mr. 1000 foudner atlas". With him it was right, with you, it was wrong, so your ELO is probably slightly overstated.

And hence the overstated ELO. Ty for summing that up team leader.

But what I don't understand is, once you leave the group and get plunged into the common pool at your inflated skill level, the people on your team should actually BE on your skill level, if they worked their way to the that point solo. So it makes no sense that someone with a high Elo would keep getting crappy teammates, unless it matches each individual person against another?

Your previous history doesnt count. Right now you are ranked exactly the same as a player who joined yesterday and need to work your way out of there. Also the ELO is a bit sloppy atm because it doesnt have enough data/tuning yet. Give it a few weeks.
The other possibility is you are overestimating your own skill/team usefulness.

and mm has 111 2222 3 to work with.... it wants an even match..... so it would go.... 1113 vs 2222.... it thinks bc ur so good, u can even it out, with your uber skill.
You can question the formula if u life, but that is how it works.
WoT system is a number thing but can be broken into colors.. purple, green, yellow/green yellow and red being terribads.
One time we had a platoon of 3, 3 purples, we got 12 reds, and were vs 15 yellows.. its pretty rare to have it that monocolored but i remember this match well.
It was a slugfest.. Reds are know for shooting walls, eachother, driving off cliffs, they are th worst, and unicums purple are the top 3%. The match came down to a 1v1 between our last alive tank and theirs and our red beat him, bc we had already hurt him alot, as we fought. So it came down to teh last tank. I said wow, I didnt know 3puples plus 12 reds equals 15 yellows(not yellow/greens.. just 15 yellows which is the avg. player), but MM did. Same thing here, the better you are, the worse your mates are in ratio to compensate. Also, remember, the system is only as good as the numbers it has to deal with.
If all it has are 1 444 4444, no matter how u slice it someone gets the low skill guy and its not balanced, but MM does its best w what it is given, ths why u want a larger player pool, for a MM to have more options for matching.
Hope that helps.
