Given the fact that in the last 3 or 4 months of playing I have been one-shotted maybe 4 times total you can understand my frustration and surprise that it happened last night 4 times in a row.
1st time I was in my Raven and took an srm load in the face. Ok I understand that.
Then it was a Yeng-low that hit me with an AC-20 shot while he was running and I was at full speed running the opposite direction. OK, lucky shot.
Then I switched to my Catapault and got shot thru my cockpit Im guessing. Since I was at full armour I was caught by surprise there. But now Im suspicious.
So I switched to my Cataphract and before I even made it to the ridge I was shot by I dont know what and went down. WTF?
4 times in 4 drops.
Someone please explain. Am I the victim of bad karma or are there blatant cheaters running around last night.

In a Gausscat I once headshotted a Cent that was chasing me and at about 7 o'clock to me (we were both running, and my torso was twisted about as far to the left as it would go), from over 800 yards away. I wasn't aiming for its head, I was just aiming at *it* and fortuitously (for me anyway) happened to hit the head.

That's not a boast; I'm just saying that these things happen.

About your cata.... make sure to stop and read over the post death screen. I learn a lot about what i'm not paying attention to in game and how it kills me.
