I'm rather antisocial, so pugging is all I have ever done. I must say that I enjoy playing against premade groups. It's much more convenient to kill 4 mechs that always stick together in a group than it is to chase other puggers around after they've scattered like roaches.

although occasional weapon discharges to the rear torso may serve to encourage combative behaviour in some scenarios.

Warning: Motivational lasers may sometimes cause pugs to enter an enraged state where they open fire on friend or foe indiscriminately. Should this occur either use a well aimed shot to the head to put the rabid player down, or disable their leg so they cannot continue to threaten the heard. Rabid pugs are contagious and can cause an entire team to degenerate into a frenzy of friendly fire.

It's so sad but true.

But mainly because all the people starting with the game end up pugging.

So no offense taken. It's just natural.

Need to add:

"Once engaged in battle and you know which way you are going, proceed in the opposite direction until all the puggies start following you in single file. After the herd line is formed, do a 180 direction change and circle back behind them. The herd will either stand there looking confused or keep going in the same direction. Do not move towards your desired spot until they scatter, then you are ok to move out as planned. You will have save many back armour plates following this technique."

I only pug, and while I find the post slightly condescending and insulting it's nevertheless funny and mostly true. So I give it a thumbs up.

You need to add another chapter.

Warning, do not get in a one on one situation with a pug, as they will beat you every time. Safety in numbers! Pugs have learned to rely on their skill alone to survive the battlefield. As such, they sport some of the best pilots in the inner sphere.

I have to disagree with you here Zeus. While it is not a common occurrence it should be considered to be akin to a shark attack. You can swim in pug ocean all day but int's biog enough you always run the risk of running into the dreaded PUGBOSS. They have evolved to their place among the PUG's and have become fierce predators not to be underestimated even with superior firepower.

I did (and sometimes still do) Teamspeak grouping. I lately have been pugging more than not. I find the OP both hilarious and, when you dissect it, surprisingly truthful in general.

Of course, it IS exaggerated for comical effect, but if you have no sense of humour...

(of course, I may be biased... and for the record, I don't do warning shots. If I am discharging a weapon, I am trying to kill you! :) )

This remains awesome.

To the field researchers god speed to you and watch for friendly fire. I have noted in my own expeditions into PUG land that many PUG's seem to have malfunctioning or faulty IFF indicators.

This piece of work was done by a clan mate, I am with holding his name till otherwise stated.

Please do not "like" me, the credit for this goes to my clan mate, I have nothing to do with this other than posting it for your viewing pleasure.

AS a PUG pilot I find this thread to be offensive.

Any discovery, large or small, related to PUGs is much appreciated, and will be included in this work for future reference. If this work offends anyone, too bad.

So i guess, too bad?

Yet another self congratulatory loser attacking pugs.

My literacy is not impacted by my lack of desire to hear about your day in middle school.

Have you considered, and this is just a question, but have you considered being less ********* and having a sense of humor?

Take the OP in the spirit in which it was given... as satire, and move along. You don't have to like it to not be a **** about it.

That is all.
