Damn, a lot of haters in here.

I PUG, always.

It's mostly true, that colony in the Alpine Peaks might of been a devolved pre-made though, that was a lot of words to use. Most PUG herds/colonies just shoot on sight anything that isn't them, or sometimes even if it is them.

Great post, I always enjoy a piece of well-written satire. We all know that this isn't true of absolutely every single pug, but I definitely see these things all the time. Part of the reason I think a lot of people don't like 8 mans is that you don't see these behaviors there--ie there are no noobies to shoot for free kills.

To be fair, I made a lot of these same mistakes all the time as a new pug too. And at least people in pugs have generally learned that splitting up into groups of one to two mechs is a quick way to lose, the herd tactic is a lot better than what was happening in pugs right at the beginning of open beta.
