My boyfriend is colourblind and because of this he misses out on a lot of information that the in-game HUD provides. I was explaining to him how the boxes on the side of the reticule are red when your weapon is reloading, and yellow when they're ready to fire again and he can't see any difference between the two. Same with the reticule turning red when you hit something and the colour of the weapon's changing to indicate range.

I propose adding a "HUD Colours" section to the Cockpit customization. Even if it costs a few CBills or MC, it would allow colourblind people to get the full range of information that the HUD provides.

Fixing colorbind is needed for me as well. I don't think I should have to pay extra for a disability though.

Hey I think I played with you last night :)

I agree, There should be an option for colorblind mode. Maybe make 2 or 3 different HUD colours available for free, but any further customization costs. I feel like making it cost is just a way to make it worth the dev's time.

Also these colours should be one-time unlocks. if I want a Red HUD and I pay to unlock it, it should be available for all my mechs. Given that I'd say 750,000-1,250,000 would be an acceptable price for HUD colors.

This is a good idea. There definitely needs to be a free color-blind option for the game, and including unlockable, customizable HUDs would be awesome.

I'd love to see this, especially if we could unlock / purchase uniquely designed HUDs in addition to color variants.

Oo, that'd be cool. For pricing on something like that I'd like to see it not outrageous.. Something like:
Single Use Custom HUD: 500 mc (~$2.50)
Unlock Custom HUD (Use on all mechs): 1400 (~$7.00)

still rough, but i would find those prices acceptable. of course everything is rough right now since i am poor.

Yeah. I tried to find a balance that seemed worth it for both the player and the company. They might think that $7 is a bit low for a full unlock but as a player I feel like that's a reasonable cost for the value of the custom design. $9 (1800) is probably the highest that I'd say they should go, but I think they'd sell more of them at $7 to make up the difference.

i think the censor is actually a developer that gets his kicks out of blocking random words from posts. maybe it is a little vengeance for all of the people who rant about how the developers are ruining the game.
