As the title says .. after this patch I've played 10 matches, and all have been lrm n00bs and snipers all around, just so they could be ready when the "big map" showed up, sadly..

Would you rather it be brawlers only to be ready for the small maps?

Brawling is the way of man. Anything else, is not.

First off I love winning.

But some advice in the future, learn to have fun even if you lose.

Especially in a game like Mech warrior you play against some people who have a lot of skill. You are going to lose.

I didn't choose the Mech Life, the Mech life chose me.

I suck at this game right now but I know the more I play the better I get. You need to ignore what others are doing in order to find joy in most games.

I have to ask, have you ever driven a Treb loaded with LRMs and a TAG that has to "do it himself"?

Neither did I, but the LRM guys deserve respect, too.

Since this patch I've had way more "fun" games. I still lose a lot more than my ego would like. But the games aren't all about 3 or 4 Splatcats/AC20cats/Whatevercats as much. Also when you do hit Alpine, it's so much harder for a group to stay in the shroud of ECM completely, lessening it's effects as well.

I am not sure what your problem is, but the game has taken a turn for the better. Not to say it's all the way there (ECM still needs to be adjusted). But it's much better.

His problem appears to be not liking LR fighting. Which is fine, and his prerogative. But MW game should NOT be about 1 range class of fighting. LR or SR.

Additionally, be aware that people are just getting used to an actual big (ish) sized map and a new mech which IMO works very well with LR configs. Both of those things are making the loadouts longer range than they were last week.

I had told my self that i wouldn't write or do anything on this forum any more a few months back, but sometimes you just need to went your frustrations .. would probably just have said "sigh" and turn on the telly if i hadn't pay for founders package
