- 137,5 KM/H with it's stock XL engine
- Accepts camo paint
- You have to BE drunk to pilot it.

It CAN use a ER Large laser but you have to strip away a alot of things. I tried the following:
-X2 AC/2
-X1 LBX10
-X1 ER Large Laser
-Max Armor / no Jump Jets Med Laser and 4MG's (for 30 tonnes it survived well)

Or... you can drive a non-broken mech and enjoy your beer with dignity and style.


Or.. even better, don't drink a beer but give the devs 100. Get them **** drunk and when they are knocked out
exchange them with someone that is competent and get them to balance the game.

I dunno - is it just me or has the lag dropped a lot?

I experienced it a few days ago but mostly it seems to be very much reduced.

As you might have noted from my earlier post, I only drive the raven once I have given up "serious play" and or are sufficiently intoxicated. There is no other mech I have nearly as much fun driving.

But your irrational Dev rage is a reasonable choice too I suppose, someday we'll get an ECm balance and then no one will hate the 3L anymore.

But I mean even then with my fantastic ping I'm more thinking people just can't aim because against competent pilots I sure get shot a lot, if there is a lag shield out there for me i have yet to find it.

The fix did fix some of it but it is still there. The worst Raven ******** will also run crap in the background to increase their ping and what not.

This game need EU servers badly. That would solve so many problems without the devs really doing anything.

Clearly you have not been paying attention to the updates and fixes, etc...

The last "lag shield reduction" fix makes your ping the only thing that affects whether or not your shots lag, IIRC that's been in place about a month. If there are dumbass pilots still trying to pull the boost ping lag shield BS they are only hurting themselves.

The ECM Raven is broken in so many ways. It also have some of the worst hit detection in the game, especially when they are moving right at you.

The devs really deserve what they get. I'll praise them when they bring back mech collisions and so remove lots of the cheese Ravens instantly.

You cannot rely on players to keep the game balanced. That is the devs job and they ******** stink at it.

You are right. But they are much harder to take down than they should be. They have become a plague on this game and also make it very hard to drive any other light mechs.

But please do exploit it as much as you can. Break this game.

That's what the car insurance companies of the 80s and 90s told me too. Somehow red attracts the irresponsible drivers and having an 89 red beretta was more insurance. Or something.

I don't pilot lights. But it's funny when I see people like you do it and any ECM on my PuG team won't counter you so we can kill you because people still pack streaks (I do on my TBT-7K I am leveling atm). I wish people were more heads up. I'd do it but I don't own a D-DC and I don't pilot lights (I do have a Raven-3L at Elite and a Cicada-3M at Master for the lulz).

I'm not sure if you got the memo, part of being a Beta tester is breaking the game. If we didn't try to break the game then we wouldn't know where it was broken or if it could be broken.

But more importantly I'm gonna just play this game and have fun with what i enjoy, and sometimes I enjoy my pretty raven drag racing from one cap to the next while avoiding enemy mechs, lasers, missiles and ballistics.

Just commented on this to my team last night. What is the one mech variant you are guaranteed to see at least one of in EVERY match? Answer Raven 3L.

Well keep up the good work then. Maybe one of these days they will notice how the ECM Raven is game breaking and fix it. Maybe one day you will even get clan wars and what not. Some years into the future because this beta will last.

Hey, that sounds very much like the banzai charges I do with my Pretty Baby equipped with TAG on all weapons fire (to identity LRM targets), 2 PPCs (to disrupt up to 2 ECM-equipped mechs), and 3 SSRM2s (for light killing) while running at 89KPH(!!!). I even manage to take down one or two of them ... if I live long enough.

I've seen Light Pilots doing this. You just see them skipping around the screen and no one can hit them because it's hard to judge how far ahead they warp.

nothing else is really as fast AND sleek.
