To be fair I don't see this often. But when you Tag-test them and see that their real hitbox is about 4-5 mech lengths in from of them.. Well you know what is going on.

Its also very interesting to just hold tab up and see how some peoples ping goes up and down all the time. That just don't happen unless manipulated.

Well, like you I utilize the highly effective ECM, Spam SSrm's, enjoy how screwed up the hit box is and basically run in circles doing more damage then about 6 or 7 mechs. If I don't kill at least 2 mechs & get about 600 damage...well, I feel sad inside.

Well, people can either QQ all day long or learn to bring them down. I guess the former is so much easier.

As for things being broken, that's for PGI to decide and deal with, if at all.

Well, as most other peoples said, this is Beta, things are changed here and there, balanced, nerfed, etc...
It's always the same thing, in every online game I saw until now.

Each time an 'exploit' or 'invulnerable build' appear, you'll have thousands of guys that will use it for this single reason. They do not care of fun, they care about winning.

It doesn't mean there is not guys out there that just play it because they like it, just for the fun (or because they can at least drive it drunk at the maximum german highway authorized speed without any risk ).

I have a 3L because I really like the Raven since MW4 and think it is tactically interesting. I got good results with it, but it do not mean I do not plays my 2X and 4X just because I'm pretty uneasy with them
I would even say that I play theme twice (no to say three times) more to have the same results (XP & CB)...
I made Master level on both Hunchback and Cataphract, so I'd like to make the same on Raven, I think it is fair.

Anyway, remember it is just a game, I think it is useless to insult peoples as I saw it twice in a few gaming hours this weekend just because they are in a Raven (Remember Streak Cats, YOU hade the shame on you some weeks ago ).

Simply bring ECM and know when and when not to counter ECM with it. Case study complete, having more ECM than the enemy team gives your team an 80% chance to win.

Ping works both ways, when my ping starts soaring I can forget about hitting anything. I try to sit on a base just to do something useful but just get warped all over the place and then die because mechs I cannot even see are blowing the crap out of me.

High ping is not an advantage or a one way shield it effects to pingee just as much, if not more so, than the pingers. At least in my experience.

In my Founders Jenner I like to sneak around far past the enemy line, and if I run into an enemy scout, I eliminate them, hopefully without being tagged. Once I see my allies engaging the enemy, I sneak in behind the Atlas/ strangler and fire into their RCT. I usually walk out a match with 700+ damage. dual medpulse, dual medlasers, dual SSRM2's and speeding by at 142KPH

I am a normal ping raven and you know what, I congratulate people who AC20 me, cause it's a good shot. Also as previously stated i run ravens for the lulz so getting blowed up just means I have a chance to get a new beer.

Not true.I notice pretty big difference hitting fast mover with 300 ping and 14 ping.I play on steady pings 114-119 so I rly know how it looks like.

except for the ECM part, this pretty much sums up what i was doing with a Jenner before light mechs got OP and unfair und because of that, not that much fun to play.
I didn't ECCM enemy atlas', is just killed them...
Now with Alpine Peaks i am not pleased to lose to light mechs that can cap all the map before i even see a single capture point, so i pilot a raven... i feel like a total badass, but once collisions will be back in i think i will suck as hell because i totally forgot how to play with them

Thats why you have to play ravens not as battlemechs, that's silly, play them like the awesome little race cars with missile launchers they are.

I feel like it is only the 3L that has issues, every other Raven I can easily duel with a Commando.

It totally is. Ravens just dont take damage correctly, I've concluded. Ive duked it out one on one with them in my TBT using trip ssrms (When I can actually lock.), and still die in a quarter of the time. They just don't take damage when they're moving above 140, unless they get whacked by ballistics.

Needs fixin.

It has nothing to do with learning how to down them. Ravens in their current beta form take signifigantly recuded damage and still have severe hitbox/netcode issues. Shortly after the netcode fix, I was downing 3Ls left and right, but the issue decayed maybe three or four days after, eventually back to the previous state of "FFFFFFF".

-scream **** ***** ********** you, you ******* ***** ******** Raven (self-censored for use of inappropriate language)

-repeat the above sequence, until too drunk to get a new beer.
