I know there are a few threads like this but thought a new one would be nice.

I'll start...
Played a game last night and I was in my K2. A team mate of mine was in a C4 Cat and an enemy Spider decides to come around and jump onto the C4 Cat's head. My team mate is screaming that he can't get the Spider off his head lol. He's torso twisting, running circles and still can shake the Spider.

Then another team mates says... Use your jump jets and jump as high as you can. The C4 Cat jumps and at the peak of the jump the Spider is cored and taken off the top of the C4 Cat by our team mate with a Gauss Cat. Funniest thing I have seen to date in this game lol. It was like those old shows of shooting the apple off someone's head as a trick shot lol

I did that once, but to a stalker, and we were the last ones alive. But we had a team kill (or self-destruct) so they only had 6 kills to our 7.

Stayed up there for the rest of the match :) (I was missing a leg and nearly cored in every torso)

Everyone but the stalker thought it was hilarious, lol.

Dropped against Garth last night, they ended up being 1 short. After we had cleaned house with the first 5 enemy mechs I spotted him, in his Cicada 2B and diverted all i had left to hunting him down. We were in River City and he was on the elevated base platform in the north part of the map. A few of my buddies ended up chasing him into the lower section underneath the base where i proceeded to almost immediately jam my weapons trying to take him out. Garth then proceeded to overheat his poor little Cicada trying to melt my face off, only to have the intended effect actually happen to him and deprive me of the joy of doing it myself. The remaining K2 then proceeded to core the snot outta me as at that point i was only in it for Garth lol.

Before matchmaker phase 2 and the PPC buffs, I was in a trial Commando in Frozen City. To mix things up, I typed to my team the location of one of the tunnels entrances. 5 teammates followed me through the tunnel, and I found myself leading a parade of 'mechs straight to the enemy base. No hostiles in the tunnel, the only enemy we encountered was an afk Atlas near the enemy base. We won by base cap, with the only casualties being the 2 teammates who went for the ridge instead. I never fired a shot.

I was running around in river city (upper), being chased by another raven. Admittedly I was not paying attention and wandered into the entire enemy team. Now let me make one thing clear, I have a love hate relationship with splat-cats. I LOVED how instead of taking my full upper torso off, he obliterated my pursuer, his ally. I HATED how that poor ******* couldn't chase me, and helped my team to a quicker win.

First or second time out with the Cataphract 3D, fully stock. Came running around the corner between buildings, coming face to face with a splat-cat. Reflexively I hit the jump jets to jump over and get on his six / run away. This was my first jumper, and I sorely miscalculated. Instead of clearing said splat cat, I landed on his hull, and slid down the front...point blank to his alpha.

It didn't end well for me.

I recently had a really tough match. 7 vs 8, with me on the 7-man at the spaceport. The enemy team opted for a blitzkrieg, rushing upper city for a quick victory. We stalled them in the upper city area with some hit-and-run skirmishes and snipers taking shots at any hostiles that appeared. At first I remained a sniper in my hunchback, along with a stalker and an ultra auto cannon-equipped raven firing as the enemy approached. With the initial assault losing momentum, the enemy team started going straight for the base to cap from the river, and I found myself with a Stalker trying to fend off 3 Trebuchets with jump jets. When I wasn't circling the base for cover/ a clear shot, I was trying to chase down the enemy 'mechs. After a tough fight, with most of my armor gone, a friendly Atlas with its arm ripped off and some friendly sniper fire finished off the attackers. We now had 5 'mechs left to the enemies one. Due to my damaged state, I told my allies that I would stay at the base, and watched my team move to the enemy base at the waterfront.

Then fate was cruel, and the entire match was lost to the server maintenance this morning.

Lets see, theres the time I was in my spider 5K in snow forest, was fighting an atlas, JJ'd ontop of the snow bank, and while his attention was then diverted to the rest of my team, I just stood there and fired my 4 machine guns into his back.

There's the couple times when I was in a light and would have enemy LRM'***** an enemy atlas.... There was the time in CB when in my commando, I kept the back of an awesome facing me, and never his front. The time I fired locked on missles before dying, and them hitting, and killing the mid air spider 1-2 seconds after my death. Yesterday in frozen city, played catch the bucket with a hunchback, where I would go down, he would go down, I would JJ back up, he would need to make a treck back up, and while in the air I would take the shots he couldnt return due to angle. No, even better was last week when in my 5J, same map, a D-DC atlas was coming for me, and he was VERY well armed. I went down, he followed, I went back up, by the time he got back up, he was the last.

OOH, theres also the time, still frozen city, where in my IM, running dual gauss and dual ML, a catapult A1 turns the corner, and starts to engage me. Thing is, this wasnt the 6x SRM6 cat, this was the 6x SSRM2 cat. He fired his missles at me, I returned fire with an alpha. He noticed his mistake and started to back away. He didnt get far.

during the time of knocks I chased an Atlas out of bounds...knocked him and he blew up due to suicide. I had JUST enough time to stand back up and get back in bounds before the suicide timer went to zero.

The funny part was how his mech looked trying to stand back up and then immediately sitting back down as his out of bounds timer ran out.

My team walked down the "River of death" in City so I flanked left - lone wolf style - right into the garage under the enemy base, killing an SRM cat face to face (CTF-4x AC5s). As I made to leave the garage, the enemy were done with my team and I was last man standing. So a returning Cent blocked the garage entrance nearest lower and I cored him, then a Raven dropped into the tunnel behind me, which I killed too. At this point just me and a wounded Jenner left... A couple of shots at the Jenner and my ammo ran out. The Jenner didn't know, so I managed to cap to 25% left before he realised and finished me off. Probably my nearest greatest victory, but ultimately highlighted the failings of 4 tons of AC5 ammo - i carry 6 now :-)

Ahh... during the tourney we were making a push down a mountain on Alpine. You know how you can get sliding down those really quick? Anyway, I'm in my Stalker and skiing down a mountain, must be going 90 kph if not more. Put my alpha straight into the CT of an Atlas when I'm about 3/4ths of the way down, and primly walk over his corpse as I stick the dismount.

Another time (also on Alpine but that's just coincidence) there was an enemy Raven pestering one of our Catapults. Just trying to mitigate damage, he was jumpjetting into the air, which really worked out well. Because as he jumped, that gave me clearance to core out the Raven from beneath him.

No. Get out. That joke is older than the universe. Its existence is enough to prove the existence of something, maybe a higher power even, which instigated the big bang. Stop it. Now.

Moving on, there was this time I was in my hunchie, heading back to the point in frozen city (assault) where a commie was standing still, capping. I rounded the corner, we stared at each other for a good 3 seconds - Clint Eastwood style - then I pitted him with my AC/20. Triple cartwheel. We lol'd.

Its a re-post but not alot have seen it:

At the start of the match

Enemy A -Smile you're being recorded!
Me - Send it over when we're done.
Enemy B - Its a big file, like 18GB
My buddy - We'll make it so short so you can make a GIF of it.
LoLs ensued... and it wasnt because its funny, but we knew it was gonna be true.
Enemy A - So lets put on a good fight!

Needless to say, we roll'd em like a zit-dotted fat kid does a juicy chocolate pudding pancake.
