Not a skill! Simple concept! A double Heat sink is a mechanical device that does its thing regardless if the pilot is tall or short, hairy or bald and will Never, Ever, be affected by the pilot.

So if the pilot pressed his pinkie on the second window screw on the right side of the window, sits in his seat at a 27.3 degree angle and crosses his legs so each foot is on the opposite foot pedal! It affects Nothing! the heat dispersal doesn't get better!

If you need more proof go into your vehicle and sit in between both front seats, hold the steering with your right hand only and stick your tongue into the lighter socket, then check to see if your vehicles temperature. You'll be surprised how it cools your car .60% more!

Fun fact, my car's engine runs cooler if I keep airflow through the radiator and turn on the cabin heat.

Battlemechs are very complicated machines.

The heatsinks do not "get better" when you become skilled in a battlemech, but the skill system represents your pilot learning how to use the battlemech to it's maximum effectiveness (even beyond it's factory specs, or just learning it's "quirks")

I guarantee you a profession F1 racer will get better performance out of his F1 car than you would.

You should just start necroing posts from page 747. Everyone knows things were better in the good old days.

I'll take that challenge. You just take care of the cost and getting a F1 racer to let me drive his car

But I just figure that those skills that affect heat (and basically everything else) are more like my pilot and mechanic learning to set up the battlemech better. A well setup/maintained machine will outperform a poorly setup/maintained machine.

This game has a ton of things that have no relation to skill, as does every "MMO" these days.

4/10

The Chewbacca Logic Method wasn't a bad start, but overall, it just didn't inspire the proper hate and discontent that it should've. Good effort, though.
