Feel free to put my name on your list if you want to, but my money wasn't going anywhere to begin with.

You'll hear cries of "WHY DON'T WE HAVE THE HIGHLANDER YET? YOU SHOWED IT TO US 8 MONTHS AGO!!!!" when the object hasn't come out yet or "THE CONCEPT ART YOU SHOWED US LAST YEAR DIDN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THIS, WTF PGI?!?!" when the object finally does make it out into our hands.
Give me something that I want to buy and I'll buy it when I can buy it. I'm not going to pout and protest and take some sort of stand, because really who the hell cares?

No, what really bothers me is the silence from the PGI team over the last month. They've become so sloppy at updating the community or addressing concerns. Seriously, they have community managers, it takes 10 seconds to come onto the fourms and say "hey, this is what is happening, we're sorry, stay posted." Instead they let questions and gripes fester and grow. Is it any wonder the community gets upset?
The whole supposed advantage of having a small dev team and a small but dedicated community is communication. This isn't Capcom trying to keep the lid on a new character roster, this is a team of individuals we know that are being suspiciously cagey about things. Like I said a few times recently, I have no idea how members of the dev team can constantly show up on NGNG or hang around the forums and Reddit without addressing these very basic issues. Weird.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Battlemech #20's art as soon as the next guy - but I mean from the 19 other mechs there must be a ton of other sketches and evolution changes in the design that could be shown to the community that wouldn't alter anything in the schedule resulting in lost content or push back content. Not only would these be interesting to a large number of people who enjoy FD's art - or like the battlemech designs in general - but it would also be giving content to keep people talking and engaged in the product beyond just playing the game.

What ever happened to curiosity and an interest in seeing where the game is going? I constantly question PGI's decisions here, and frequently I just get told "get gud scrub" and "it's a beta!" instead of people going "well maybe you're overreacting but you might have a point." It's almost as if people in these forums -want- to see this game stagnate, because then they don't have to deal with new blood or change their ways at all. That might work in tabletop where you frequently have 3025 grognards who refuse to buy anything beyond Total Warfare and the intro box, but unlike TT, the game won't survive on a static group of people who never demand anything (especially answers) from the developers, because online-only video games actually require upkeep and income streams to stay around. How do you do that? Keep introducing new things, ditch or fix things that don't work rather than expecting people to live with them, and for god's sake keep the hype train moving if even at a snail's pace.
Would it kill you people to be smart consumers capable of critical analysis and criticism that can help improve the product? Call Norris's ways extreme if you want, but at the very least you should be saying "yeah, where the hell is that art?" Ugh.

When my team is 7-1 down and everything is either yellow or red I try to save my mech and pilot, I send a message saying take the cap (gives the winning team more xp)
What ever I did in that match doesn't matter the fact is the OP cheated by asking others where I was, that is frowned upon.

I hope that's not the founding logic of your boycott. Most of us are too busy enjoying the game to get mad over stuff like this.

Then we can at least pretend that they're holding back for a clan mechs unveiling in an increasingly shortening dead line.
