Oh, I fully support your decision to stop giving PGI money, if you are unhappy about the product being offered (for whatever reason) then you should vote with your wallet. I just find it amusing that you bothered to post it on the forums and expect other people to care. If every single person in KONG quit spending money on MWO today no one would notice, despite your misconception of your importance.
Good luck with your windmill Mr. Quixote
Edit: Just had a thought... if Norris is de la Mancha, would that make Vass Rocinante?
Jokes on you.
Norris is a rich old man who buys us all stuff regularly.
Bought me a new moped and 50$ worth of MC last week because I copy and pasted his head on to a Daishi violating a Stalker.
Step it up son.

Not any more eh? seeing the OP is trying blackmale to get what he wants.
I wonder what you also have to do for this old man to get him spending money on you? bit odd if you ask me.

I think this ranks up there with the thread about wanting to move the joystick (when they added the start up animi) because that person uses the other hand and it bugs them.

What is the problem?
The problem is that we know for a fact that the concept art for the next several Mechs are done. And have been done for quite some time. We also know that there is literally nothing holding back their release (there isn't, I've asked around). Now typically PGI would stick to releasing one piece of Concept Art per month on a Wednesday, this meant very little for them as it didn't guarantee when the Mech would be in the game. It was simply a piece of content for people to latch onto and talk about. I've grown very fond of this, especially since Alex (Flyingdebris) is the Concept Artist behind MWO. To me, the concept art means more than the Mech actually being put in the game. That could just be me though.
What is it you want?
Call me entitled, but I want the next two pieces of Concept Art released in relatively quick succession. This shouldn't be a problem because PGI did this before with the Highlander and the Flea. Even if they didn't mean for it, the fact of the matter is that it did happen so it shouldn't be an issue to do again. Especially since the art is done.
What are you going to do about it?
Simple. I am not going to give PGI anymore money until they release the next two pieces of Concept Art. They can view my financial records, they know that I'm not just some guy who wasn't going to spend money in the first place. Nor am I an Old Man who dropped $120 USD for his Gold and is QQ'ing about wanting his money back. I like this game, I've got money to throw at it. But I don't have to seeing as how I'm sitting on close to half a billion CBills.
And as for why the next two pieces?
Well see, I can imagine the next piece of Concept Art is released next month. But I don't particularly care about this art to be honest. It's going to be an Assault, and we all know the short list of Assault Mechs it could be. No, I am far more interested in seeing what the Mech after it is. And because of that I don't imagine PGI is going to be so forth coming with releasing the art for it.
What do you intend to accomplish?
I want PGI to realize that there's a group of players out there who appreciate actual art more so than pictures of Mechs that they have no interest in. Especially ones that require them paying in cash to acquire. I want to start a list of people who won't resume MC purchases until PGI has released the next two pieces of Concept Art. If you want to join me in this little sit-in, that'd be swell I'd enjoy the company.
No Concept Art. No MC Purchases List:
1. Norris J Packard
2. Conzilla
3. Enig
4. Haruko
5. Barghest Whelp
You could put my name on this.
I agree with you, but there is 1 (one) concept art missing (the 5th assault mech), not two.
We know the Clans come after the mech #20 and personally, I don't care (because the clan mechs are already good looking and we know exactly which ones will be added).
THERE IS NO REASON for PGI to delaying the next concept art. They think they are building a suspense, but in fact they are killing us.
Yes, we know it would take ~6 months for the mech be actually in the game. We don't care! As long as you keep showing us what you intent to add to the game. No surprises, please. Even if the mech #20 is a Battlemaster it won't have any impact because you kept us waiting. You broke the tacit agreement of at least one concept art per month. You disappointed us, PGI. You simply gave a finger to us who spend so many hours making (or just appreciating) mech repaints for your game. We do it for passion. Ask me how my passion is right now.
Those who don't appreciate art will not understand this. For them mechs are just a collection of hardpoints. But for some people, mechs are pieces of art. These are the people PGI is losing.

We are very obviously missing an Assault 'Mech.

Something like this should be a regular feature. An insane amount of art and design goes into the mech design and putting more of it online would hype the mechs a lot more than in-game screenshots.
