The devs have mentioned Solaris before and I'm all for it. Of course it will be down the road, but here are some ideas I had.

• Ideally their would be at least 1 new map, hopefully a few could be made, one for each of the major arenas.
  
• Perhaps their could be two gameplay modes: last man standing and solo. Last man standing would have say 8 players on the map and have them all fight it out, and solo would be one on one.
  
• Challenges could also be important, you could either randomly drop against another player with a similar Elo or you could challenge someone to a match.
  
• You could have a young Duncan Fisher do the announcements, that would be a fun callout for MW4 fans.
  
• Add in melee weapons and combat, Bryan already said they are considering it as a possibility. My vote is yes, this would be a good opportunity.
  
• This would be a good excuse to host some tournaments, of course.
  
• Gambling (using in game c-bills) would also be really fun in the tournaments, but I understand you may not want to mess with gambling. But give it some thought, gambling is a way of really getting the community interested.
  
• Otherwise you could do simple things like have the players sign up for who they want to win (i.e are you team Broceratops or team Snalio). Perhaps those that voted right get a little pendant (with Broceratops written on it for example), this gives the viewers something and it gives huge epeen to the winner. Or anything that gets players excited to want to watch the fight live and more included in the match (of course hopefully better spectating will be included by then). After all people don't really get excited to watch the Lakers win, they get excited to watch their Lakers win.

It is in the pipeline, we've been told though that it's not likely until about 18 months from now.
