There have been minor balancing tweaks and the introduction of a small number of very minimally-presented gameplay options, and a handful of confusingly pointless UI changes. They are improvements sure, but this game doesn't need improvements, it needs content and development. You don't build a house by laying the foundation and then start hanging pictures.

You're right, (lolwut??) they are starting with the foundation (basic game play and are slowly expanding further on that, reinforcing after and then adding pretty things after. You just see things in some strange Topsy turvy sort of deal. If you don't like the game right now leave for another 3 months! things will be different, but do NOT expect anything drastic, that wont ever happen.

Why don't you CRY about it some more?
How about you ACTUALLY READ what the devs have posted regarding their process of adding new things to the game.
They are a small company working in even smaller teams on different parts of the game at the same time. So it takes TIME.

Stop acting all entitled about new content in a FREE game.
Beta status or not, this game is FREE TO PLAY, no one has any damn right to complain like this about new content
(Except when it's about the concept art for assault mech #5!)

The game has changed little in 8 months, other than the nightmare of ECM, 3 months doesn't change much in this game overall. Community Warfare will likely be the only significant change to the game, and I would be quite surprised to see that within 3 months. I enjoy the game, but also expected far better than what it is by now, and my confidence in PGI has dwindled more and more over the many months I've been playing the game. They repeatedly make poor, amateur decisions, or ones that are possibly due to lack of respect for the player base. To be honest, if I had to pay a subscription for the game, I wouldn't play it, so it being free to play is the only reason I play it currently. If someone didn't care about the game they likely wouldn't be posting here, whether they even play the game anymore or not. People posting criticisms almost always are doing it because they want the game to reach it's potential and not wallow in mediocrity. Most "fanboys" are so defensive because they feel that someone is insulting something they like and have invested time and money into, whether they consciously are aware of that being the case or not.
