Sweden has blondes, meatballs, swedish chefs and social healthcare.

And we are not currently at war with anyone and dont have Fox News (we probably have SOME equivalent but I can only think of a newspaper equal to The Sun.)

Ha Canada has all those things, and both Canada and Sweden are at war because NATO. And the easy solution to Fox News is... turn off your TV.

Hopefully they get some EU servers up soon. Playing with that kind of ping has got to suck.

In Toronto you could just run a long ethernet cable right into the server closet... Ping of 1?

All Joking aside eventually people will speak with their feet and just stop paying and playing if the lag and rubberbanding isn't sorted. Im in the UK and suffer from the game lag etc but its more evident since the last 2 patches as my ping has gone from 112 to 150. I am sure the devs are onto it to sort out this problem. What kind of budget does it take to set up and monitor server farms outside of their native country I have no idea. In the end its still beta and will hopefully get better.

With the lackluster broadband companies you have, no way . I like my 1GB lines for 100 USD here in the frozen wastes where the Norse Gods rule.

You have things like ComCast so I feel more sorry for you.

Lackluster? I pay $100 USD for a 2 megabit line. They still have it good in my books.

To answer the OP, my ping has been consistent at ~280ms since closed beta started.

So you don't care about hearing the truth of all matters, got it.

Sounds Familiar:

Are you sure you aren't talking about Canada? Blondes, check, meatballs, check, social healthcare, check. Not currently at war, check, and very limited access to Fox News, check (thank god).
You know, except for the cuisine, and the fact that I routinely get 35 ping when playing MWO, I fail to spot the difference. :D
What, other than Ikea meatballs made from the freshest Horse, is Swedish Cuisine About? - Not trying to be an ***, I am genuinely hungry. I've had Norwegian, and Danish, but honestly can't say I've had Swedish Cuisine.
Cheers ~ From a hungry Canadian.

And don;t forget..even the bums on the streets speak 2 languages.

Coming from Australia, where the pings are usually 250ms and above we do perfectly fine.

I doubt the servers for the oceania region are coming soon but are much needed. Hopefully it doesn't split the player base so much that it takes far too long to find a game. I'd rather play with 300ms ping with lots of players than have a ping of 10ms in a ghost server.

I think I'm getting short changed my connection is only 30 mbs!

Doesn't really help with my ping on this game though.
