Today marks the first day in March 3050. March and April, these months will likely change the face of MechWarrior:Online for the rest of eternity.
I am ready brethren are you, quiaff?
It is March 4, 3050. Wave 1 is underway. Lyran Commonwealth and Draconis Combine worlds are falling to Clan Wolf and Jade Falcon warriors as you read this. When are we going to learn more about how the Clan will be integrated into the game?

I actually hope for a different game mode for Clan play. After all, if I loose I am disgraced and even if I win I don't own my mech, so I can't choose to pay C-bills to have it customized for me.
A "prestige" game mode might make sense. Gain honor and use it to unlock stuff.
Most IS units should have static command structures. I'd like to see the Clan units more dynamic, with the warrior with the most "honor" leading each battle. Of course with clan honor tactics being what they are I would expect most clan units to lose badly unless they manage to get the IS units to agree to 1 on 1 duels. The new bigger maps will help the clans but still...
Most who wish to be Ristars will watch their enemies with one eye and their competition with the other.
I'd hate to have to start a second account and use one for IS and one for Clan.

again... see my post earlier. ALL we want is an announcement, concept art, clan details, banners, anything. Nobody expects to log in and see a Timber Wolf sitting in the mechlab.

Who's to say they won't release several chassis to "kick it off" and introduce more as time goes on. Either could happen. I could see from a business standpoint delaying the release of content to generate hype over different media outlets.
Perhaps. They might start off by introducing the most feared clan chassis of all.

Clearly at least some people are writing posts that sound like they are expecting a release soon (if not this month), even if you personally have more measured expectations.
But even that, I dunno...PGI has invested a lot of time and effort into modeling IS 'mechs and creating hardpoints. But the way this game skews to maxed-out designs, who would take an IS 'mech if Clan tech was available for purchase? Wouldn't PGI be trashing months of work and investment? It could make Clan 'mechs MC only, but that would violate PGI's design philosophy. And at least so far, there is no bot system to allow Clan 'mechs to be computer-controlled opponents.
I don't follow this closely at all. Did PGI ever say in any way that Clan 'mechs/tech would be playable? Or just that the timeline would sync with the 3050 era?

You're ruling out the possibility that they may break from canon and make the clan mechs balanced regardless of TT rules.
