I have, or don't want, any of these 'mechs, but these prices are reasonable for a new player. If you can grab a K2 for about $5, that's not too bad.

Honestly? If a mech was between 2 and 5$ dollars a piece you'd be selling them like hot pancakes.Instead your prices are prohibitive.

I know cash is what makes the game turn but you're asking too much for little benefits. Rethink your strategy.

You can actually grab -both- the Jenner F and Cicada 2A for the $6.95 package. Both mechs cost a total of 1,220 MC and you get 1,250 from the $6.95. You can also opt to get the K2.

If you buy the $14.95 package, you can grab both the K2 and the D since both of them combined costs 2,999 MC and you get 3,000 from the $14.95 pack.

And as mentioned earlier, if only these things came with free bays when purchased with MC we'd all be happier.

I sure hope we get one of these sales going on when a AS7-D-DC is available as a Trial 'Mech.

I actually dropped $30 for a D-DC and a Trashbucket 5J just to get my stable up to one mech of each class I wanted to buy. It's basically $5 for 2.5 million c-bills which is about 35 games. In other words it saved me from having to do 140 straight games on one chassis. I like to switch it up. I'm still broke but at least I have variety now.

My only problem with this sale is that its a trap for new players who should buy the Raven 3l, cicada 3m and atlas ddc if they don't want to hate themselves in a week. This is a fine sale if you just want to max basic in the d and sell it. Actually, remember you get mech xp in trias now but you have to buy the chassis to spend it.

I admit I briefly considered dropping $15 to buy and immediately sell the d (after spending my saved xp). Then using the remaing 950 for 3 more mechbays. That would give me enough cbills to buy a 3L straight up.

Edit: Oh. Get the atlas d and K2, sell the D, buy a raven 3l. K2 and the jenner are probably the only mechs worth owning. I don't remember if the trial jenner is one of the good ones. I Hate fighting lights, and the jenner is a terrible scout. Its a pure combat platform you would only buy if you really just want to fight in a light AND jump. Otherwise, only the K2 isn't a new player trap.

The only thing buying a non hero mech with MC does is lessen the time needed to earn it. Anyone can buy any of the non-Hero mechs for in game currency, free of charge. Rethink your position please.

Did you not read the what you quoted in it's entirety? I said I have to go to work and had limited time to play. This sale required them to shut down the servers for about 15-20 minutes eating up 3/4 or more of what time I had to play. It's not that difficult.

Also, I understand why they are doing the sales. They are testing the ecomomic waters. Personally I don't see any real reason to spend MC on the stock variants of mechs. Instead that currency is better spent on Hero mechs, camo, xp conversions and occasionally a cockpit item one really wants.

It's my personal beef and feedback.

To be fair, the mechs on sale last time were a bit more desirable, but it's a good sale either way.
