I've thought for a while that PGI is going to ninja drop the clans on us. Didn't think about the Mod program, but that makes sense.what would be awesome is if they implemented all the clan stuff, but had random smatterings of guys in clan mechs showing up. Giving rise to reports of clan activity in game.

The moderator thing was a stretch, but it has made little sense , especially with the one clause removed. Many of the current moderators have unit affiliations, and PGI has had no problem selecting them up until now. We know the game is being designed for more than 8v8, so before 12v12 rolls around they could drop a few surprise 8v8v4 matches where a squad of four clan mechs comes in and wrecks havoc. It would be great viral marketing, and PGI has stated there is no better substitute for testing than live data.

Yeah, but SAFE could not spy their way out of a paper bag and Mimir has bigger problems right now.

The computer on Phelan Kell's Wolfhound ID'd the Timber Wolf or more properly could not decide what it was. The name was given by ComStar's Precinctor Marshal as a mash up of how it resembled both a Marauder and a Catapult.

My thoughts initially. However several of the volunteer moderators have unit and faction affiliations, and metro probably stumps for House Liao in his sleep now.

It was Phelan Kell's Wolfhound. Other IS mechs present (iirc): Blackjack, Griffin, Locust, Panther, and Rifleman

Was trying to think if any assaults were present to face the first of the clan and were also Well known. Be crazy if mech 20 is a wolfhound.
