I am currently trying to use an Atlas AS7-RS and my main weapons are on my arms.. I have encountered something that generally doesn't greatly affect most mechs. The arms at waist are much lower and hitting the terrain happens more often. Its the most obvious on ridges and small hills being infront of the atlas.
Maybe the aiming reticule should change color if terrain is in the way? so if I'm poking around a corner I will know when I'm past the end of the buildings "mesh" and I can actually fire at something.
This feature should only work for 100m or so, and aiming at mechs does not change the color from its original color.
Maybe even make it a module?

this is known as a paralax error. snipers encounter this issue when what they're aiming at with their scopes are not in line with the barrel of their rifle. so the scope can be on target but the barrel is not. while most mechwarriors will compensate this themselves, it would be nice to see an indicator within say 50m telling you your shots with either torso or arm will hit dirt.
