Since 3/3, my latency has increased substantially, usually to between 140-200 instead of the usual 80-100. I have completely reinstalled the game, rolled back my windows to a backup point, updates all my video and sound drivers and direct-x and even after a day, the game remains unplayable. I rubberband so much that the game resets my turns and faceplants me into buildings, it is almost impossible to lock with streaks or hit with any other weapon.
If anyone has had this problem in the past or recently, let me know how/if you were able to fix this. Hopefully it's just a server problem that will go away after the 3/5 maintenance, but if it doesn't, I will be a very sad BattleMech pilot.
Maybe I'll just make a streakapult. :3

I've had it too. They have tweaked something that I hope they un-tweak soon.

Not likely that it is something they changed. More likely a problem with one of the hops on the way. My ping is unchanged(35-50).

My hope is that it's just some connection problem between my ISP and the MWO servers. (Seeing as it persists through reconnects and restarts.) Luckily, a server restart is happening tomorrow.

agreed with Bilbo. My Ping is still between 15-40, must be some weird hopping going on.

Same problem, ping has jumped from 50 to 150-200. Target reticule is jumping all over the place. Can't drive right from the rubberbanding. Shots are lagged by a fraction of a second. And it only happens from 6 PM to 12 midnight.
Trace route is showing the problem is with whomever PGI is using as server provider. Internap network solutions or something like that. Moreover, I have a hop that whoisip is telling is in flipping Germany!
I think that whatever PGI did to decrease the lag for the euros is effecting some american IP's.
BTW it seems to be only verizon customers affected.

Bumping this, since I am now also affected. My ping from here in Germany was always steady in the 140-150 region which was (just) playable, now it's up to 200 and beyond with huge spikes (up to the 8000s) inbetween.
Running a trace the problem seems to be rooted at the same company Luxx mentioned: Internap (or pnap.net).
I'm no expert so I don't if this is general routing issue or something PGI can somehow address, I just know the game is unfortunately not enjoyable now, to a deegree where I just stop playing to not nerd rage all over the place.
Edit: Running a ping to www.mwomercs.com gives me all timeouts aswell. I have also send an email with all the info I had to the support.
