Ohhhhhhhh boy! Light mechs must be feeling the pressure tonight. Especially the 3Ls. What's your last meal going to be? Steak-a-pult flambe? Jenner-souffle? Cicada truffles?

Why does it only say "lasers,machine guns,and flamers"? I'd have to imagine state rewind would be effective for all weapons.*shrug* go figure.Hopefully it will help some.
Raven hit box is still screwed beyond believe tho.As far as i know anyways.

So when this goes in, does that mean that players can no longer complain about lights if they get destroyed by one?
Pretty please? With sugar on top? :D

IMHO, players who can't aim will still have the same issues as before the patch.
The same thing happened when the netcode was unexpectedly improved a couple patches ago.

Ideally this State Rewind fix will just make the game as playable for European and Australian players as it currently is for North American players.

Haven't there been several net code fixes/tweaks?

Why is everyone getting their hopes up for this one?

I'm just hoping with these changes Engine Limits get removed and I can go 200 in a commando or jenner.

Its getting better but there's still more problems than just damage disappearing (and I'm not sure if this state rewind will fix issues like too much damage just disappearing into thin air, like what can happen to dual AC/20s or a lot of SRMs), such as collision (its really annoying to have a light ankle biting you and you not be able to do much about it because they move through you), not to mention weapon balance (which effects everyone, although specific weapons affect lights more than others).

Still, it'll help and I can't wait to see it in action.

Oh nevermind. I see you still have that the Raven hitbox is screwed, that streaks are cheese, and that ECM is over powered. Don't worry, you'll still have an excuse for why you got owned.

There is a pleasure like none other when you stuff a Raven's face full of dual SRM 6s on a medium mech.

I can't wait to hear what the next reason/complaint about light mechs will be once assault pilots have all this wonderous code on their side and still get their arses handed to them by light mechs.

Because other netcode changes just makes it more accurate that what you see is what you should actually see. This makes it so even if what you actually see isn't right (the raven is actually a few steps ahead but on your screen in your crosshairs), it still will be treated as if it was and hit the raven.

Well technically the leg hitboxes are still screwed as per Thomas' latest known issues post with regards to explosive damage.

Terrible Raven pilots who clearly are exploiting the lag shield will be crying. If you're good in your light mech that won't change tomorrow.

If you've been taking on 3 assault mechs at a time in your Raven and thinking they're all just bad shots? You are in for the rudest of awakenings.

Thankfully some of the recent netcode fixes helped that somewhat, but even the other day I saw a Raven fighting literally all 8 of an enemy team by himself, get stuck against a wall and get slammed by about 4 people at once and...didn't take any damage. He got out of there with yellow armor.

Hopefully state rewind (and other bug fixes to help curtail disappearing damage) gets rid of that. It isn't just Ravens, considering I've seen damage just not even stick to Atlas mechs before, specifically high damage like dual AC/20s. It just doesn't stick for some reason.
