Well if people would use their brain and keep things in one thread instead of each opening up his own the mods would most likely have let us get away with keeping that one thread. Opening a hundered single threads about the same topic makes this forum a mess and needs to be moderated. So merging them was a good call. Merging them all into the oldest thread about a similar topic they could find maybe wasn't. But as far as I could tell the important stuff's still all there. Just all in one thread that doesn't have a title containing starred out words.

It also hides all the polls that were in those threads, except the one at the start of the thread they were swept under.

EDIT: Scratch that, the main poll is now gone as well.

Do you think that a threadnought that grows a page every few minutes will enable a proper discussion? Will it enable people to check back and find a specific post/piece of information? Will it cool the temper of raging forumwarriors?
