and will wait to see how this game develops instead of complaining about lack of content and then complaining about it before its even in the game. I know there are people like me, so just know we are behind you.

Dear Piranha Games Inc employees (yes, ALL of them)

I sincerely thank every one of you for the hard work and dedication you've put into creating this game. From the individual empyting the office trashcans to the coders working late nights to meet patch deadline, you have my appreciation and my support. I hope this thread can make it around your offices, it's always nice to know that people out there really do care.

Loving MWO and all you people at PGI,
-John

The thing is, the best case scenario the module is meh. The worst case is it actually is a monegrab p2w feature.

So, there is a choice between [who cares] and [omg wtf pgi you messed up horribly].

Rather have neither and it just not exist.

I did trust them. I always said in the past that they've done a good job of keeping this game from going the P2W path. Their work there built up a lot of good faith in me, and helped me overlook many of the games problems. Now, I'm heartbroken.

I will trust them, until they fail majorly. Which may be about to happen with consumables. Until then though, I'll hold out hope that it's going to be better than it currently looks.

Um... no... best is they tune it until it's juuuuust right.

Of course that's not really reasonable outside of beta..... :P

When you said the module would never happen, and then suddenly you make it....it doesn't matter if the module is made out of delicious ice cream...you still lied about it, and now we can't tell which other things you said you wouldn't do might actually be just around the corner.

It puts everything back on the table when you reverse yourself like that as a company. Did you mean it when you said no actual gold ammo? what about when you said no third person? How about when you said clan mechs wouldn't be MC only?

I mean...which times did you actually mean "never" and which times did you mean "well not this month"?

You see the problem...Trust issues like this are complex and not to be taken lightly. I'm surprised no one at PGI saw it coming.

They did bring it back from the dead and we have to at least give them credit for that, whether you agree with the game balance changes or not.

really wish you people would grow up and quit bitching p2w, the only way any game can ever actually deserve that kind of label is if there is some game changing feature that is exclusive to real money, at what point did any of you actually read the thread about the coolant flush where it says, may be purchased strictly with MC and not C-bills? oh, that's right, it can be purchased in identical values with both c-bills and MC, well gee, maybe it's not quite so pay to win then, since you can buy these consumables with c-bills, exactly as you would if you were part of a real mechwarrior economy. How does this make it pay to win exactly? because someone can throw down some RL cash and buy it more frequently? well there really isn't anything preventing that -now- since if it was exclusively c-bills someone could still spend RL cash, buy a mech, sell it for half price, and still buy these consumables only now, instead of being forced to pay twice as much to supposedly 'pay to win' they're actually able to get a fair market value.
everyone of you going all berserk over this announcement should take a hint from the OP, maybe you should actually wait to see how these things are handled before you start throwing up your hands and crying wolf.

Well, they lost all of our 'love'. They just blew it, how should, how can we trust them in the future?

You didn't actually read it yourself, did you? The best version can only be purchased with real life money.
