Always nice to see other teams' competitive drops. Looked like a pretty intense brawl. Looking forward to seeing the playoffs for RHOD. Keep up the good work Jags.

DRAAGUN officially merged with 201st so its a mixed lance = fail.

The DRAAGUN spirit was conveniently tucked away despite assurances by its own leadership.

They are, the myths of all Atlas or Raven drop decks have never been seen by me. I do think we ran against a 6 Atlas 2 Raven last week though that we beat.

Entire match takes 3mins 27sec

Unlike pug games, once it hits the fan it ends quickly because people are putting out a lot of damage instead of doing random stuff on their own. However because of that we do best out of 5 so we get a chance to regroup and try a few different things!

I wish more people would stream 8s because I think if this thing does ever become a spectator friendly game, 8s is going to be the biggest draw. The game is so much funner to watch when you have 2 organized groups trying to execute their respective plans, as opposed to a bunch of random mechs doing random things and blundering into each other, which is what I see on most streams right now.

If you check the outreach forum, there are lots of teams that are recruiting. Check www.runhotordie.com standings for teams that have signed up for the tournement. I wish you luck!

I wouldn't say it's great spectating for entertainment value, I'd say it's more useful for seeing some positioning.

Thanks for posting the vids.

I like watching people stream, as well as other match videos. While you only get one perspective, and sometimes coms, its still very interesting and it can be intense. The best perspectives are of those people who are in the mix. At some point I want to combine a few perspectives together to show the different parts of a natch as one video, to imitate a perspective mode.

If MWO had a perspective mode similar to DOTA, I'd be watching 8s quite a bit.

More teams need to share their matches if they can. Teams need to stop being so paranoid about it. In QuakeWorld every single match is publically available via server side demos. Yet the best teams and players still win. At the end of the day the superior team will still win. You can't steal execution, teamplay, experience or skill from watching another team play. You can get ideas however then apply them on your own. Yet without the other team's talents you won't be applying them the same. The only way the competitive scene will grow is by being open and inclusive. Thanks to everyone posting videos. Can't wait until we get replays.
