Just a post to say im enjoying myself. When i load the launcher and i read whats coming up for the game im happy at the progress. Its come a long way since NDA and closed beta. Every patch tunes in a little bit more and more.

For those who are bummed out by the land slide of negativity on these forums, just remember that its usually unhappy customers that take the time to post. The happy players are in the game blowing **** up like never before in MWO.

I mean just look back at the history log on these forums. The cry fest has been going on since the first days of community feedback. Take a peak at world of warcrafts forums and see all the tears. Yet beyond that its a game thats been up for almost 10 years now, going strong even still. Because its always a small % of very loud people running their mouths.

Hold fast brothers!

PS: Going to MC my way to victory. Because MC teaches noobs not to fire LRMs close. And MC helps Johny Guass Rifles lead the target properly. Q.Q

sort of like the 5000+ people that voted against adding 3rd person view when that subject was initially put to a forum poll? yeah, a totally small %

The unhappy customers are the reason we don't have Jenners with ECM.

Just throwing that one out there. A customer unhappy enough to tell you what you're doing to make him unhappy is probably the best thing a business could hope for, seeing as most unhappy customers just go "well **** you" and walk away along with their money.

Might as well enjoy the game as much as we can now, because after the 19th it's going to get a lot worse when all the things you can buy directly with real money will tip the balance to those that have the bigger bank accounts and willing to pay for those advantages. It makes me chuckle when I recall the devs talking about MWO and e-sports in the same sentence.

Yup. Very small percentage of the number of people who actually play the game. For every one of us, there's probably 5 that don't even look at the forum because they're having too much fun actually playing the game. It's a proven statistical fact that a game's forums is always the smallest percentage of that game's community.

hate to play devils advocate here but they let world of tanks be an E sport... and you can pretty much pay to win in that game.

People can do the most horrid, wicked things under an assumption, and do so with a smile on their face. You should not automatically assume that everyone who posts something that you disagree with is a negative Nelly out to attack the game, or slander those working at Piranha, or troll, or whatever else you want to insinuate.

This is wrong, it's dead wrong.

ya ya. i heard the same **** at least 4 times now. I remember all the crying when XL engines were like 2 million cbills to repair. And what did PGI do, they balanced it out. Just like they said they would.

NOT a SINGLE issue with the game that hasnt been addressed. with the possible exception of the lag shield. And its better then it was.....ALOT better. And FYI.....WOT had WAYYYYY worse warping for the longest time.....

Well, I usually defend decisions, or suggest that we wait and see, but this patch introduces something highly questionable at the least. However, training grounds and state rewind have me happy, so we will see.

Yeah...in a global context...that's tiny, microscopic...sorry to burst that bubble. There's so much negative emotion about stuff that's NOT EVEN OUT YET - Wow. Talk about your over reaction. Then again, I did make a stink about ECM.

Really no different then any other sport. Why do you think Team America cleans house at the Olympics every year? because they dump alot of money into their athletes. World class trainers and training centers. Interesting how no one compares the pay to win aspect of Esports to real sports.....

Well they have lost a couple of times in the Olympics too, and those losses probably would not have been possible if you were allowed to pay a sum of cash to get an extra player on the court.

That's a load of rubbish. There are many nations far more successful than the USA per capita (I think Jamaica has about the most gold per capita). It also depends on the sports involved. Certain racial types are dominant in certain fields for biological reasons (although there is no definitive thing, since Olympic athletes are at the extreme end of any curve).

However, you might want to compare the USA's per capita performance to a nation like Australia.

You might also like to remember the Olympics are once every 4 years (with the Winter Olympics also 4 yearly on the bi-annual split with the Summer Olympics).

What a dumb and counterproductive attitude.

Can you imagine the direction the game would go if no one ever provided any feedback? Do you even understand the point of a beta? You are talking about it like it is a fully released product, and as though these developers are super sensitive and likely to burst into tears after making this nice game for us that isn't intended to make them money.

Yeah. They're doing a good job. And part of that is that they've taken feedback that we've been giving them, and they've used it. No feedback, and they have to do all their play testing themselves.

Get over yourself, get off your high horse, and stop being such an apologist for people who neither need nor want for you to be such a smoochy smoochy kissy suck up.
