What ***** would use GOLD ammo - it's too soft.

Gimme Tungsten or solid diamond.

Or flamers that shoot pancake mix because that would most likely clog the joints and heatsinks since regular flamers are worthless.

Seriously though, Manufacturer Type Specific weapons and components would allow for a solution:
3-5 different makes for one type of weapon, some cost more, some have less internal HP, Some do more DMG with more heat, some less etc. That is a huge amount of variance and I'm not sure this game is ready yet, tho

In all seriousness, the p2w consumables are idiotic to say the least. I will not be spending another dime on this game and I sincerely regret my founder's and subsequent MC purchases. What a ******* waste.

Regardless on HOW they implement it non-standard equipment "coolant" gear (apart from the 3056 coolant pod) can easily be seen as an advantage for those using a lot of high heat weapons.

So what's next?

Fire rate booster for the AC's? An ammo reload box?

I'm all for new gear in the MC store but they need to be INCREDIBLY balanced and for god sake PGI - make **** cheaper because just the hero mechs alone are silly pricing and 252 MC per USD is not exactly cheap

You do realize gold is a soft metal, and is not ideal to use as ammunition right? By the time it reached the target it would probably go splat lol.
