I'm embarrassed for the community...

I've been around PC gaming and forum communities for a long time and I can't recall a community that is so quick to forge judgment without trial and form opinions built upon raging hyperbole as this one... :D

For all the gnashing of teeth and wails of indignation over consumables and flush, you'd think small children were being drawn and quartered for amusement.

IMHO anyone with half a brain and an ounce of discovery should be willing to at least "try" it before expending the copious amount of energy denouncing it...

Very very good point.

I'm still laughing over here, these are the same people who were crying that hero mechs were pay to win....

It's pay for convenience that's all

I did laugh, right now I cant anymore,

the worst...by far, is simply that this is the official forum. Cant get closer to PGI or anyone involved in this game.

And yet, after 12+ threads and everything. there is not a single official statment? Not a single one?

How many matches have you people REALLY played where you could say "man if I only had 1 more module slot I would have won that for sure"

I'm going to save this so in a few weeks I can throw it in your face when you come back crying that a 6ERPPC Stalker chain fired 12 times into your chest.

Yeah, right... as a onetime 35% reduction will help a Pepsi Stalker to shoot 12 times. And if he miss'es than he just wasted 5$.

And I can see Leaderboard matches where consumables are deactivated.

Hero mechs could have been P2W but overall I think PGI did a good job of balancing them. I haven't found an advantage in any of them that was not equaled by advantages in other variants. None of the dominate. Look at what the competitive 8 man teams use and if anything. You may see a Muromets, but not many. Otherwise, no Death Knells, No Wangs, No Pretty Babies. It may be pay for more rapid advancement, through CBill earnings, but that is generally considered acceptable in F2P games. Consumables, which may be a bad idea in their own right, can only be P2W if an option available for MC provides an advantage over those only available through CBills. So far, with the coolant flush module (which I think is a bad idea in the first place) looks like the MC version is different and better. That IS P2W and we should scorn it as it has been scorned.

OH LAWD, MY BODY CAN BARELY CONTAIN MY RAGE!! PEE TEE DUBS ALL UP IN HERE!!

Remember when an AC20 on a Cent was considered crossing the line? LOOK AT ME NOW, CAN YOU TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGIE?

Let me spell it out for you.

OH LAWD = General forum poster reaction to change
MY BODY CAN BARELY CONTAIN MY RAGE = General forum poster's need to make a thread and beat dead horses
PEE TEE DUBS ALL UP IN HERE!! = Everything is Pay to Win, poster's need to make that known in case the uneducated masses did not realize

LOOK AT ME NOW = YLW is totally top tier and dominating everyone now isn't it?
CAN YOU TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGIE? = Me mocking you for thinking the sky is falling because of PEE TEE DUBYA

I think you greatly underestimate the power of the current modules.

And how is that even possible seeing as no one has access to them or even tried them out yet.

Get a grip on yourself man. At least save the QQ for after, when you suddenly decide they actually suck and then switch your QQ'ing over to about how could PGI chareg so much for such a sucky Module.

That will indeed be the ultimate in Priceless moments.

Official statement about what? That Consumables are in? Did you miss it...somehow... maybe... perhaps.

They are yet to go live, why would the Dev have anything Official to say about them, yet?

As she screamed from the roadway, at the noises in the dark. "WHAT DO YOU FROM THEM!"
