Yea, I eat up bad raven pilots in my Jenner (or any other mech for that matter). Though I think a lot of the good light pilots are piloting other things (instead of the 3L) for much the same reason as me... there is no challenge and no internal reward for success (yay I won because of cheese... just doesn't really make you feel good).
I am a more than passable light mech pilot.I am not a chassis specialist like many pilots I pilot all wieght classes. That being said there are light mech specialist that are superior to my skillset.
I do pilot a Raven 3L as a dedicated recon platform.I have TAG,BAP,AMS and ECM at the cost of using all hardpoints for weapons and I run a smaller than cap engine rating (280XL instead of a 295XL).
In a Beta you should use the "cheese" so the Dev team can aquire loads of data on the "cheese" and hopefully also conclude that it is indeed "cheese" and fix it.
ECM is way over featured and needs some of those features reduced.
Streaks are far more potent than they should be and need adjustments
ECM+Streaks is the largest contributer to victory in light vs light battles and helps a great deal in other weight classes.
The Raven 3L and Commando 2D can both load up streaks and ECM and that is what makes them "cheese".
