Besides, it's extremely unsporting to shoot at your allies old chap -[REDACTED]
...and for some reason they tend to be good at it...
EDIT:
And now i got this image in my head how A1M1 tanks shoot their own radar and ECM support units to give the opposing team a better chance.
It's after work so Im tired.

but not Ravens, never ravens, mostly just commandos and spiders because they look so stompable.
Don't do it, it would be bad.

Whenever I accidentally TK a Light I usually actually feel pretty good about it.

Yeah as long as I truly did not mean it then I'm fine with it. Sometimes I might "accidentally" throw an AC/20 round their way. The most fun kill I ever had was when an enemy Commando came up to me and humped my AC/20 barrel and I one shot him. Good times. I relish killing lights over anything else.

I've never actually accidentally-discharged my weapons into a teammates back though. If I had one of those neural-impulse actuator things, I'd be tk'ing a lot.

Here is my recomendation for improving your understanding of the Raven 3L situation.
Pilot a Raven 3L.
Yes that's right I said JOIN the FLOCK! you will gain massive amounts of perspective and understanding.
The first thing you will realize is not all Raven 3Ls are built the same.
My build for example is a dedicated recon build.
280XL
10 double heat sinks
Endo Steel
Ferro Fibrous armor
2 medium lasers
2 SSRM2 with 2 tons ammo
TAG
BAP
ECM
Modules: 360 target retention,Sensor boost 2,cap accelerator,Data speed.
The damage I cause with this chassis is mostly information.I prevent enemy ECM from functioning,I spot LRM targets with TAG.I paint ECM cloaked targets with TAG passivley transmitting enemy locations.I sack enemy LRM boats.Move to cap a base to pull enemy mechs off the line to deal with me and lead them on a merry chase. In conquest games I range far from my main forces and solo cap periferal points or hunt and kill enemy Ravens doing the same (I am better than nearly all the other 3L pilots I run across)
I use the blind rage for the 3L to pull groups of enemies out of possition to allow for my team to win.
I do not play as a cocky rambo light hiding behind ECM.That is self serving and does not contribute to the team as much as diciplined carefully crafted chaos does.
In the end when ECM is tonned down and isn't the monstrosity it is now I will still be piloting my 3L after all I wanted to pilot one since before we knew ECM was going to be as potent as it is.The 3L will still be an excellent choice for a dedicated recon platform so I will still use it in that capacity as I do now.

It is, for some reason, only Commando's that inspire this urge for me.
Well, Commando's, or any mech piloted by Stingr4y
