Heh, the Cataphract was an ugly mech to begin with. It's a Liao design using spare parts of Marauders (arms), Phoenix Hawks, and Shadow Hawks just to field another heavy mech for the House. Lore even calls it a "Frankenmech" so I doubt anyone is going to feel insulted by the fact that it isn't the prettiest mech out there. Oddly enough it may be the closest we get to any of the Unseen mechs in this game.

Back to the OP, try out the 4P as your second hunchie, it works pretty well. I think a 2x PPC and 5 SL build would be quite viable or 5 MLs/4SLs work really well at surgically removing components.
