Hello warriors.

I have no Hud whatsoever, no minimap, no chat, no battlegrid, can't lock on targets, can't identify friend from fo. All since recent patch.

I'm aware in patch notes it says sometimes you will loose your hud. But this is a every game occurence for me 15/15 times so far since yesterday. Even in the testing grounds HUD is missing. When i spectate a game it seems everyone has their hud and chat working except poor ole me.

Searching forums i see lots of post from 2012 reguarding this issue. With no fixes mentioned. Also i could not find any recent posts relating to no HUD from this recent patch. I figured if its common since this last patch i would see some peoples feedback..

Is anyone else having this issue?
Has anyone found a workaround?

Probably going to remove then reinstall later today. wish me luck. Any feedback is appreciated.

The exact same thing just happend to me. My game worked fine yesterday when the patch launched. I have just tried to play the game this evening and the HUD is gone, along with all onscreen information. I restarted everything but no luck.

Let me know if reinstalling works...

Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

The hopefully quicker way is to delete the shader cache and make sure all the .pak files are intact. Otherwise... a reinstall is probably a safer bet.

I reinstalled and so far so good. hud works as intended.


Thanks for the tip Deathlike, ill keep that in mind.

Upon veiwing the .pak files there were size differences in my old files and the new files. Im guessing something was corrupt in said files.

cyper23- reinstallnig is best bet, worked for me so far.

Happened once to me yesterday...I'm still noob so thought that it was some variant of the map where everyone's equipment was jammed or something. I thought, man...this is some hardcore stuff right here. You can't even tell friend from foe.

Sorry to any team mates I may have slightly bruised before I was blown to hell.

So i load up the game today and my HUD is back. Yay! Not sure why it wasn't displaying yesterday or how it got fixed. But lets hope it lasts...
