Cant have a bad showing on the open forums page... that would drive customers away. And darn it, they dont have gold plated TP in the IGP bathrooms yet. How could we expect publishers to live like that?

Could you guys knock it off. Post in the official thread. You are on PGI's property scuffing up their grass. You need to follow their requests or get asked to leave like ALL rude guests do.

not to mention we are tired of being promised one thing from the devs, and then forced another by the developers. and as investors to the game ie founders we have no voice or our voice dosen't matter. also the fact that we as the consumers of this quote game have no say. would you buy or invest into a product that you couldn't say or have any influence in.

We are not guests.

We are customers.

Spamming their forums may be rude, but history has shown (and not just with this company) that this is the only way they will listen.

You are Guests... all customers are Guests. Companies have the right to refuse service to anyone they wish although they might get smacked with a fine if they do it based of skin color, sex, or creed. Even that is debatable as their are "Men's Clubs" that don't allow female members.

Spamming will only get you ignored and banned and at that point you get no voice.

Well since no one seems to get banned for posting them what reason is there not to post them?

These kinds of threads are the equivalent of playing really, really loud Beatles music in the dorm next to me. That's great that you want to protest, I may even believe you, but seriously. I'm trying to read the newspaper (the forums) and your music (these kinds of theads) is seriously annoying. And seriously. If it isn't Yellow Submarine, I'm dissapoint.

I have spoken to quite a few people that have already sunk $120.00 or more in MWO and have stated that if MWO turns into a situation where someone can "ACTUALLY" pay to have some sort of advantage (not C-Bills, only MC), then they will dump MWO for good, end of story. They have already "INVESTED" their money into something that will "NOT" give "ANY" return on their "INVESTMENT", so to continue to "TRY" and milk them for cash is "UNACCEPTABLE", and they refuse to be asked for more money for "ANYTHING". (although I did hear hopes of a hero Atlas... LOL)
.
$60.00 is the usual price for a title that "ISN'T" a F2P game, and a lot people would rather pay a one time fee, instead of having some greasey little "shylock" try to sqeeze every last little amount of profit out of a game in a fashion that could be perceived in such a way as to turn intelligent players away, and the last time I looked the average age of the MWO population isn't quite young and dumb enough to "NOT" see something like that coming (if and when it does).
.
I completely understand the business model of a F2P game, and the desire to make as much money as possible, I get that ok, "BUT" there comes a point when some people will lose interest in something that "HASN'T" been released yet but also wants more money, and that doesn't cut it... I have never bought a "CAR" that was still in BETA, sorry, and anytime that I odered something that wasn't finished yet, I was "NEVER" asked for additional money for that order, so I see a huge issue for MWO as it relates to current players, and I see that issue as a possible failure for player retention, unseen at the moment but the math will add up soon, and I will guarantee that you will see more about this in the very near future..
.
Personally I have a limit to what "I" will spend on MWO, and there are (only 2 possible exceptions), but that isn't the issue, once MWO is finally released, and I see what it has to offer "ME", then it will be decision time. MWO has a window of opportunity that is closing, whether anyone realizes this or not, that is the reality of the situation, if this were a "CLOSED" Beta it would be different, but it's not, MWO is available for "ANYONE" to download and try, so the "CAT" is literally out of the bag, it's coming down to the time make a decision soon, not just for me but for many, so let us see what MWO will be...
.
It's all conjecture at this point as far as CW, and Clan Tech/Mechs, so I will reserve opinions on those things until I see them implemented, but I will keep in mind basic math on the other issues, 2 + 2 = 4... 2 + 2 does not = popcorn, it would be in everyone's best interest to keep an eye on development of consumables, and "NOT" be sucked into a money pit, because that would just be pathetic...
