As you can see on this picture, there are 3 enemies on the right side. But only one is viewable. For one other there is only a shadow of the feet on the ground. The last one is total invisible.
The range is 800-900m. So easy in range.
it is really getting annoying when i get sniped away from mechs i cant even see. It happend even with a commando running around at 300m once.
So far i saw this only on Alpine Peaks, but i guess its the same on other maps as well.

Alpine Peaks is the only map I have this problem with.
I've also had an issue of the IFF dropping when I zoom in, so that I need to zoom out, confirm that my target is in fact an enemy, then zoom back in before firing.
I've also noticed that even when 'Mechs aren't that far away (400-500m say) that they seem to be farther away than they do at the same distance in other maps.

2. Turn up your video settings in the options area. Specifically the one mentioned by Redshift2k5

I have it on maximum and increased render distance (5000 meters) in the USER.CFG and STILL cant see enemies clearly at over 2000 meters - I see their guns firing all fine though.

Good news Mr.Craig It is funny though to spot where opposing Catapults are going as you see their bay doors floating thru the air before the Mech is even rendered. I tried on testing map and it seems the Mech is rendered at the moment around 2000m or so, take or give some. But good the issue has been addressed

e_MaxViewDistance = 3000
e_ViewDistRatio = 100
e_ViewDistRatioCustom = 100

the cool kids use it on every map.
You mean the cool kids that friendly fire because they can't tell which blue blob is in front of which? I can see a mech as well with normal vision mode as I can with Thermal and tell which way it is facing.
