There had been talk by dev to "nerf" seriously bizzare boating build (splat-cat, quad PPC, etc).
I would like to offer the following as suggestions (plus a possible "nerf" to the ECM + Streak combo?).

Missiles-System:
"Individual missile launcher is designed to prevent premature detonation by collision or flying into another missile's exhaust. This is achieved by programming individual missiles to spread out in a pre-determined pattern. However, such pattern do not take into account adjacent missile launchers. To prevent multiple missile launchers within the same section of the mech from interfering with each other, missile launchers will not fire simultaneously. If an attempt is made to fire them at tandem, the missile launchers within the same section will only fire in sequence at 0.5~1 second intervals. Also note that due to potential danger with exhaust ignition, all missile launcher's reload operation will halt for 0.5~1 second when another launcher in the same section fires."

Effect:
Boating with crapton of missile launcher in one place would, in effect, increase the missile cool-down rate (missile launcher cannot reload for 0.5~1 second when another missile launcher fires). This makes splat-cat a bit more difficult to use (with 3 missile launchers on each arm, the reload time is increased by 1~2 seconds and the damage is spread out over 1~2 second window instead of all at once.

ECM:
"By emitting a broadband signal on both radiative and acoustic range, the Guardian ECM achieved its function by blinding the enemy sensor with noise. While advanced sensor coding allows ECM mech's and ally mechs' sensor to filter out the jamming signal, whether from the ECM source or reflected off the enemy mech. However, a situation exist where a mech carry ECM got close enough to another mech that the reflected jamming signal and the jamming signal directly from the ECM is sufficient to blind the delicate targeting system used by missiles. As such, missiles cannot acquire lock on any target within this range."

Effect:
ECM carrying mechs cannot lock-on to another mech within 200m until the mech switches away from Disrupt mode.
