I think the MC Coolant Modules are pretty balanced with the CBill ones. That being said, I don't see them as useful modules even compared to what's in game. Would I rather have one flush instead of 360 targetting to see ECM mechs or Sensor Range to achieve missile locks sooner? Nah. And, if heat is such a problem where I "need" a Coolant Module, that means I need to build a cooler mech and/or learn how to manage heat better.

It's funny that people are putting so much effort into raging and quitting think that there's some other set of players out there, equally rabid, that will do nothing but spend real cash over and over again on Coolant Modules.

Let's say each module costs $0.50. Take a semi-serious gamer... someone who plays from 6pm-midnight five days a week. That's 30 hours and at 4 games an hour for 120 games. That's $60 a week or $240 a month. Heck, my cigarettes aren't that expensive!

Besides, anyone who has that much cash to burn on Coolant Modules is probably smart enough not to buy them for every single damn match.

Perhaps there's a slippery slope out there to Gold Ammo, but all the ragers should just relax and assume people aren't as rabid as they are...

Don't bother man. Just close your browser (or this tab of it) and don't look back.
Nothing will be constructive in here. Trust me.. 12 pages later. I know.

Hyperbole is all over the universe and invading the past, present, and future so much so that all we'll ever see regarding any concept, item, or thought will be hyperbole. ( ;) )

It's a game breaker for 8 vs 8 league play.

I believe it is more the precedent set by having MC items being a higher power/tier than the C-Bill version.

The current lineup may be well balanced (or not), but once we allow multi-tier powerups we may be on the slippery slope of P2W..
