Then maybe what you need is a change in mech. Light mechs are a lot of fun, and they are fast, but they are tricky to use against good pilots. I personally do a lot better in my Catapults than I ever do in my Ravens.

I don't understand how yr getting killed with 2 ppc hits or 1 lrm15 strike. That's pretty rare. Even with a headshot you'd survive unless u had ammo in that slot.

Lights are a definite challenge. I have a reasonable amount of experience in that area. (All lights mastered.) And I can tell you that for longevity in the battlefield, a light isn't necessarily the best way to go. If it's an assault against a light, you may be able to walk away, but it's not a guarantee, and that was before they mostly fixed the lag shield. The most important thing to remember when you're driving a light is to be patient. If a medium or above gets in a little over your head, your weapons and armor give you a chance to make it out of there, or at least last until some help arrives. In a light, if you turn the corner an you're now facing 3 mechs versus one you, you'd better hope that there aren't any lights in that mix. Remember that when in a light it's your job to **** off the enemy in the hopes that they make a mistake. If they don't make a mistake, run back to your friendlies or head to cap. Either of which will possibly make them break formation. Don't try to force the issue. And check their loadouts. If they have a lot of srms, or streaks if you're a non-ecm, get the hell out of there.
