What I propose here is a simple means to get player feedback and input on various functions and game mechanics. As it stands, besides raw data in the form of what people are using and getting kills with and input on the forums, there isn't a lot of ways for players to express their opinion on various game aspects. Instead, have a simple Input Card pop up occasionally when you launch the game. It could be something simple with multiple choice questions on just a few subjects, maybe mandatory before you are allowed to play. If not, a 'skip' makes all questions from that player an abstain response on the question. I had this idea from the various threads on the forums where some aspects of gameplay were being fought over discussed, and numerous replies were 'how do you know the majority of players think that'. In retrospect that is a good point, and besides posting in the forum how do you give feedback? A simple pop up question form could resolve that, and give a very accurate account of what the majority of players feel on different issues. For example, ECM. How about a simple form that asks players a few questions like 'do you think ECM is fine' with options like 'A-no too powerful B-perfect as is'. Or for MG's, you could have a question of 'do MG's need a damage boost' and have options like 'A-yes make them do more damage, drop the crit seeking and B-no leave them as crit seekers'. Then have the answers posted on the forums in the same manner as the answers to ask the devs. This would show where the majority of players stand on various isssues and give PGI itself a good tool in regards to how its player base regards the game. I don't believe it should be a constant barrage of questions at all times, but maybe 2 weeks or so after each patch release or game change.
