Hi Guys... I am having problem with Direct X 11... reduce frame rates ect... I know the game does not support it at the moments, but if I want to play some game into Steam, it automaticaly install the last version... Anything you guys know I can do to make steam not install the new version, or something I can do in Direct X to have him apply direct X 9 setting for MWO only?

Thanks...

Installing the most current of "DirectX" will give you all levels of previous versions. There is no need to install specific older variants.

Download latest DX** update: http://www.microsoft...ails.aspx?id=35

"The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime provides updates to 9.0c and previous versions of DirectX — the core Windows® technology that drives high-speed multimedia and games on the PC."

"The DirectX end-user installation includes the D3DX, HLSL Compiler, XInput, XAudio, and Managed DirectX 1.1 components.

"Note that the DirectX Runtime (Direct3D, DirectInput, DirectSound) is not part of this package as it is included as part of the Windows operating system, and therefore cannot be installed or uninstalled. Updating the DirectX Runtime is achieved by installing the latest Service Pack or obtaining a newer version of Windows."

Luckjaw, I don't entirely understand what you're asking, could you please clarify?

Are you asking how to make your steam games play in DX9 like MWO, or are you saying that the DirectX updates from steam have messed up MWO somehow?
