I see a lot of complaining on here about 10% off not enough or give me this sale or give me that sale or how about a CBill discounted price and blah blah blah

FIne I guess. These forums are for feedback.

Here is my take. The 10% off is not the best deal that they have offered. For some, looking to pick up chassis a or b, it might be a decent time to do so.

The other side is, they dont have to offer any sales. When they do, good. You, as a player, dont have to spend your real cash to buy anything. I almost promise you that Paul or Garth wont sneak up to your house in the middle of the night with a gun to head and force you to hit the "Buy MC" button.

If this sale is not for you, ok, save you MC til the next one, IF you like it and think it is a good thing, then spend your MC, MC keeps the game running.

ps PoLaR owes me MC for using our teams Voice Comms. I charge each member 1000 mc to use the comms. I think it is reasonable. I might have a sale tho, maybe 10% off?

You're just jumping into the "It's a fee game, therefor you don't have to spend money." bandwagon.

Free game or not, it's a business. The reason for these sales exist is to make money. They're distributing virtual goods, they can make the sale as large as they want and still make money.

So at the end of the day. a 10% sale across non-mc exclusive mechs is a horrible sale and warrants feedback. They need decent sales to entice people to purchase MC and keep the revenue rolling.

Now of course. Since they did release such a bad sale, the next sale being 20% or 25% will generate less negative feedback since people will say. "Well at least it's not as bad as the last one."

I see your point, but my negative feedback was not a knock at PGI.

I love the game and I pay MC to support the game. I look at the sales and I am just looking for an excuse to spend more money (and support the game even further).

This sale does not give me that excuse (because it is awful).

I offer my disappointment as genuine constructive feedback, because I believe good sales will raise more MC and support the game I love further.

If I did not love the game I would not be arsed to even make a post (I would be playing something else).

I am sure a lot of other people feel the same way. Do not knock people for offering feedback. If feedback is honest then it is useful. And do not assume people offering negative feedback love this game or support it any less than you.

If PGI no longer feel feedback is useful to development of the game I am sure they will close the forum.
