I get into this debate at times in game... people say Gauss Ammo doesn't explode, but I die from Ammo Explosion all the time.

So either Gauss Ammo really does explode, or... this is a bug?

Gauss rifle explosions are listed as "ammo explosion."

It's the rifle. It does 20 damage, and has a massive 3 lifepoints.

Actually if the rifle explodes it says so on the list. This time it did not.

Er no... Gauss Rifle does 15 damage. It does only have 3 lifepoints... which is kinda lame now that I think about it.

No no, he's talking about the damage from the explosion when the rifle gets destroyed from crits, it's 20 damage.

My 3D only runs gauss on the right arm with erppc on each sholder, gauss ammo in the legs. I have been killed by ammo explosion long after my gauss arm has been dead and gone, literally minutes gone by. I very much assure you it explodes. It should not, but yes, it does.

I've used gauss ammo as buffers against crits even though I had no Gauss Rifle. I've had the ammo explode, at least the vocal notification, but I suffered no damage....

Don't you love it when people try to get smart even though they don't know what they're talking about?

Don't you love when people actually contribute to a conversation in a positive manner.

You mean like how contradicting someone who was giving you accurate information is constructive?

A misunderstanding isn't a contradiction.

The front view is the opposite of textbook anatomy. I'm guessing they think it's more intuitive this way...

Now we have more insight as to why the user interface is loved by so many.
