Please think these things out a little farther in advance; I'm seeing people DC in Alpine because it plays slower than the other maps and it'll make their overall totals lower. At least start adding penalties to those who DC (Maybe disqualification from events if DC % is above 10% or somesuch) to dissuade this behavior

Give those of us who don't care about your silly events a way to avoid them while still enjoying the game

These events are bringing out the worst in players, yes.

Arguably it's the structure/win conditions of the events though that are encouraging this behavior.

There I was thinking that people disconnected on Alpine because they had taken a brawler to a sniper fight.
