I saw bits and pieces of the Centurion, Commando, and maybe the Catapult in that mixed up image at the /artemis signup site. Wonder what the unscramble is gonna be.. the last 'mech maybe?

If it's a new mech then why would there be bits and pieces of other mechs?

Does anyone else think this is message is primarily a giant troll by Paul? "PENDING" x5. Reminds me of all the recent forum threads complaining about being in a Pending status for beta

It's missing f5 in between them then.

There are clearly mech parts of older mechs. Plus, only Artemis in the Battletech is teh Artemis IV, which can be mounted on all of these. But I don't think that's what the countdown is for.

Artemis......hmmm..... I'm willing to bet it's something to do with our last assault being a support missile boat or something that get's a massive use out of it like a command Mech or something hell it may even be an open beta date.
Also the date given coincides with e3.

Alright, to get this to run in firefox, I had to type:

theme cream

otherwise, all I see is blurry text. "help" gives a list of commands, but many of the commands common to Unix do not work (or I cannot get them to work yet), such as "pwd" or "cd"

Also, try typing "who". I get a mesage saying I am MWO Operative #51822. Is anyone getting a different identity?

You have to type 'init' first, then the supported commands will work.

Got this far, but it crashes on me when installing the Add-On. I use Firefox normally, so had to switch to Chrome (which I use to test my web apps)...

Also, I tried wget and the file names at different directories, but it seems to want the whole path. I can't get the right path, from http://static.mwomer...is/pics/one.png to just one.png and everything in between. Same with usr/local/*.txt

If you take the number sequence at the end of the email address (which is undeliverable btw, it's not a working email) and convert it to an IP address format you get:

13.37.43.137

This IP address belongs to Xerox though, as it's registered. Looked it up via WhoIs

I, for one, welcome our new copier overlords.

I would bet that if the pic is a mech its either an Archer or a Longbow, what with the whole Artemis thing.
if not then I have no clue.
