a bus going down the street is also dangerous and in both cases the solution is the same, don't stand in front of it.

even an atlas can walk past a stalker. you don't even need to get behind it, simply get beside it and it cannot turn it's head enough where the atlas can and it can swing it's arms even further. stalker is mostly 60 degrees with one variant going as far as 85 degrees. the atlas has 80 degrees of torso twist in every case with arms that can twist another 40 degrees.

One good hit and that stalker is now half of a stalker, so if you don't trudge up to him in a straight line from 400m out, you should never worry about them.

Stalkers can take a beating. I think the real discrepency is stalker/atlas compared to Awesome. Maybe when more assaults come in there will be more middle ground. But right now an awesome is just a slower heavy mech. Stalkers can dish it and take it, and normal drivers can manage to not solo out to get flanked.

As for this whole lights conversation, you guys should search the forums, people have been using the test grounds and guess what? SSRM are indeed borked up, LRM dmg is messed up but not as bad, and SRM dmg is also messed up.
