IMO this post is the epitome of inflammatory... which is against CoC.

The reason people are asking what you personally don't like is that a protest doesn't work unless everyone is protesting the same thing. What if, for instance, 1/3 of the people who take part are protesting because they feel the game is being "dumbed down", while another 1/3 are protesting because they feel the game is too complicated, and the last 1/3 are protesting because they feel LRM's are overpowered? Do you think that's going to have any sort of impact on the game? (hint: it's not).

A protest as vague as this one seems to be is literally meaningless. It would be impossible for it to be any less useful than it is right now, because it gives the devs absolutely ZERO useful information.

I see no reason to protest a game in development. It is in my eyes, presumptuous.

This.

Anyways, I like how this game has been developing. There are certainly aspects I'm less fond of, but on the whole the game has improved in leaps and bounds over each of the last few patches. Things started slow in January, but Feb's patches were amazing, and the next patch is full of love.

I don't like every new feature, but you can't ever expect to like every new thing added. While I'm not terribly fond of the consumable thing, I'm itching to play on the new map, the Jagermech looks awesome, a center legs to torso hotkey has been long missing and all sorts of other awesome.

~shrugs~ I'm happy with MWO overall.

Did PGI not just recently prove, that they listen to the community?

Maybe my expectations are not really high - I expect MWO to be a WoT (world of tanks) game with mechs instead of tanks, better aiming (where you actually hit what you aim for) and no "gold"-ammo. Thats it - anything else is for me the icing on the cake and the cherry on top of it.

LOL, you are Australian and YOU don't trust YOUR politicians?? Try living in the US, OUR politicians don't have a single honest bone in their bodies and haven't for CENTURIES. From the top down, they are all lying, cheating, candy stealing asshats who may be intelligent, but have the wisdom of a pile of rocks.

Pah! Come to UK. We'll show you just what real ****** licking asshats look like (and they'll even eat the fecal matter of other politicians). :P

I'm guessing the OP is concerned about the upcoming consumables and I have concerns with it too but there is a separate thread for that discussion.

IMHO, PGI have been pretty good with communication. They listened to us over the aforementioned issue and also did the honorable thing over founders premium time. Posts that reveal their stack are fairly frequent and lately the 'ask a dev' has gotten pretty good at giving an insight into what is going through there heads. Its easy to forget that this is a creative possess and a certain amount of 'genius' (by which I mean playing about experimenting with stuff to see what might happen) is to be expected, that's (mostly) when the magic happens. OK, so we're not talking paints and brushes, or gluing elephant dung to canvas but you get the idea, I hope. Maybe players have been spoiled by the DayZ experience and rockets really, really open attitude to development. Probably the same people who alt-f4 just before death...out of habit??? I don't think that this level of communication warrants a protest though.

Whilst we are talking of protests and Canadians, hats off you learned people. Oh and the Icelandic people. You all rock like no others on earth.

Much <3

*edit* I really should spell stuff better.

This thread, sense making it does not.

It would be great to have a direction that is protested but OP did not state the direction of the game. OP did not state his grievances with the direction. OP did not put forward a direction to take in the course of the direction changed.

What was the point again?

Actually Starcraft is the only game Blizzard does right. They have been running the servers for beta for the longest time. If you preorder you got beta access. They keep a consistent service and their servers are pretty strong. They did the same with WoL and the transition from beta to full game was not that bad.

They learned from that and the release will be relatively fluid. I expect too many people downloading at one time but that is pretty expected and valid. Its a mob ddos.

Maybe if you could pick a core issue it would be more helpful. Right now, this sounds a lot like Occupy Wallstreet.

This thread is ridiculous and should be closed.

If you do not wish to play this FREE game then please leave it.

Your action can in no way be positive for the future if this game and the people who enjoy playing it.

PGI has demonstrated recently how they are very happy to listen to the community and have a dialogue.

I suggest you go back to the sanatorium.
